Expensive - But Worth It Every Penny
Context: I had mice move into my walls for the first time in 15 years at my house. There is a lot of development going in nearby on farm land, so they are looking for new homes I think. For the record, I really hate killing living creatures. So goes my story here: I tried to plug up holes in my siding, only to watch a mouse scale a brick wall on the house to the gutters and get in through the fascia board. I did the whole โTrap Warfareโ in my attic to try and rid myself of these. It was an unsuccessful campaign. Despite how many I was trapping and killing, I couldnโt keep up. I ended up calling out a pest control company - and I got lucky. He congratulated me on waging war, but said it was hopeless. He put poison up in some spots via black boxes. He showed me the bucket of stuff he used professionally. He also recommended how and where I place the poison. After he left, I ordered this stuff from Amazon. Pros: - I wonโt run out any time soon. - Very effective; with a couple weeks, there was no activity. - Molded with a hole in middle of each piece to mount inside pest control boxes. - Lasts a while; I replaced individual pieces in black boxes after 2 months. Cons: - It is expensive. Thatโs it. Overall: 5/5; It will cost you up front for this size bucket, but I recommend this without hesitation. Best money Iโve spent to keep mice away.

No more mice!!!
Iโve tried 3 different types of bait outside since I CANNOT find where the little rascals are getting in the basement to seal it off. I believe this one is the most deadly but they seem to eat the kind with peanut butter chunks a little better. The key may be to use a few DIFFERENT brands of bait in the stations to cater to the miceโs preferences that day. Been using bait & stations for almost 2 months and what a huge difference! Will continue to keep them at bay outside so they wonโt be coming INSIDE. So glad I discovered this.

Works
Mice eat it and die. I've tried other brands, but quite often the mice don't consume it. Contrac is expensive, but works.

It works quick
This stuff works! My father-in-law does pest control but works in another state. He suggested we buy these, they worked within days. The mouse we found in our attic started pooping green. though we did not see it we saw that he started eating the contract blocks because the poop was green.

Effective and easy to use
Scattered 6 pounds of the product over a 400 square area of my attic. I noticed consumption of the blocks after 4 days. A week later we heard no more mouse activity.

Good product
this is the same mice bait. My professional pest exterminator uses, and Iโm having excellent results with it. My mice issue is about gone.

What the pros use
Recently had bat abatement done by some local pros who also noticed evidence of mice in our attic, even though we had never seen them in the house. They sold us bait stations to put around the house and said that we could have them refill them or we could buy contrac blox, specifically, ourselves and refill every couple of months. Sure enough, the bait was pretty much used up after a couple of months. This will pay for itself in under a year compared to having them do it and we should have enough for close to 10 years!
