Does the job very well.
Sturdy, easy to assemble and adjust. NOT noisy on my worn trail tires. Basic but adequate and an excellent value for the money!

Very good product - highly recommended!
Unlike some of the previous reviews, everything I needed was included in the box. Along with the little instruction booklet, there was also a sheet that said "2015 & 2016 Assembly Instructions" that made putting this thing together a breeze.Attaching my bike to the trainer was also pretty easy. I replaced my bike's axle with the one provided and then set the bike on the stand. This part of the job would be easiest with another person there to help, but I managed to get it attached with no major problems. Make sure you get the bike centered in the stand. You can easily adjust both axle tightening knobs at the same time, so centering the bike is pretty easy. When you get it where it needs to be, make sure everything is good and tight and slide the lock set nuts into place. I noticed a few reviewers complained that their bike came off the stand causing them to fall. I wasn't there, but I'm going to assume that either the bike wasn't secured tightly enough or perhaps the lock set nuts weren't in place and the axle tightening knobs worked their way loose. In any case, mine sits very solidly in the stand with no wobble at all. Besides the bike being nice and secure, the stand itself is very square and also doesn't wobble. The most difficult part of the whole process for me was adjusting the roller so it made the right amount of contact with the back tire. Having read some reviews about how the tires got hot or started to get shaved, I wanted to make sure that I set it up right. Basically, I tightened the adjusting knob just until the roller made contact with the tire. Then I slowly rotated the tire, paying attention to any slippage. If the tire slipped, I tightened the adjusting knob a little bit and starting rotating the tire again. After maybe three or four complete spins of the tire it seemed like I had contact all the way around. Then I got on the bike and started peddling slowly. I noticed a little bit of slippage, so I got off the bike, tightened the adjusting knob slightly, and got back on. After about three times getting on and off the bike to make adjustments, I think I have it dialed in. After a nice long ride the tire doesn't feel warm at all and there isn't any rubber dust on the floor. Some users complained about how loud this unit is, and that isn't my experience at all. It does make some noise, but it's nowhere close to what some people made it out to be. It definitely didn't drown out the tv or bother my wife, who does her own exercises while I'm on the bike. If you're looking for absolute complete silence, I don't think you're going to find that in any device outside of your own imagination. This thing is plenty quiet for me.As happy as I am with this product, I do have one complaint. The screw that allows you to attach the resistance adjuster to your bike and tighten it is way too soft. In fact, mine came pre-stripped from the factory. So instead of being mounted firmly to the handlebar, my resistance adjuster is basically just sitting there, leaning back and resting on the brake cable. When I want to adjust the resistance, I have to use two hands; one to hold the adjuster in place and the other to turn the adjustment knob. It's kind of a pain but not a deal-breaker. I'd probably deduct .5 stars from my overall rating, so call it 4.5 instead of 5 stars. All in all, I'm very happy with this stand. It's solid, reasonably quiet, and allows me to get ready for the long summer rides while there's still snow on the ground.

Satisfied
Easy to put together. Works fine. But I did have to go purchase a new tire because I have mountain bike tires and they don’t grip to the roller

a cheap way to ride indoors
if you haven’t had achance to get out and rideyour bike. This is the perfect exercise , just hookup your bike and do some indoor riding. This is a well made product very sturdy and will last lifetime..The instructions are good and it sets up quickly. the only problem i had was my dirt bikehad a wider rear axle than the unit could handle, fortunately I have two bikes. and one was able to use the axle that was included . It has a tension lever that allows you to regulate the difficulty of your ride, it attaches to your handlebars

Terrible trainer - DO NOT BUY
Do NOT buy this bike trainer. You probably came across this since you were looking for a budget indoor bike trainer that you could put some mileage on - as did I go. Within the first ride the plastic by the screw that holds the rotating metal cylinder of the trainer broke, the metal got really hot as it spun, and started burning the rubber of my tire. Absolutely terrible. Please just spend a little more on a quality trainer so you don't have to get stuck in a situation like me.

A great buy, not only for the money but for the quality.
I read lots of reviews about indoor bike trainers of all makes and models and price tags. Then I got to thinking, I'm not preparing for a race or competition so why do I need to spend hundreds of dollars on a trainer for my spare bike. After reading the reviews of all the trainers less than $150 I decided that the Bike Lane Pro was the one for me. I only needed a trainer for the very cold and nasty days. This trainer was a great price for $80 and had everything else the others had, just cheaper. It arrived after 2 1/2 days and packaged well. The directions were very thorough and I had it together and ready for the bike in 10 minutes. It did come with an axle and the riser. Since my Raleigh bike already has a metal axle I didn't use the one they sent; keeping it for a spare. The trainer has really hard rubber feet that don't slide on wooden floor or carpet. As for noise, low humming sound spinning at about 25-30 mph and the faster I go the higher the pitch of the sound but nothing too loud where it interferes with the sound of the music or movie I am watching. I have a smooth road tire but I imagine the noise would be louder with a more aggressive tire tread. In regards to actual feel while pedaling, I don't notice any slip of the tire against the flywheel while I am spinning. When I tighten the tension of the mag and try to come out if the gate spinning really hard and fast instead of gradually building up my speed than sure, I feel the tire slip a little. Common sense will tell you that. I have been spending 3 to 5 hours on it per week and so has my son. I am 5'11" and 208 lbs, this machine is very durable and I am very pleased with the Bike Lane Pro. A great buy and great quality. Whenever this one wears out I will purchase another one just like it.

Very loud
The media could not be loaded. Opened it up today and set it up to do my first work out on it. The setup was pretty straight forward and it is very simple to use and stayed very stable even with I did a couple of sprints on the bike, I am 5'11" 220LBs and very out of shape so there was quite a bit of rocking. After an hour training session of mixed light and hard riding I never felt like it was going to tip or was unstable in anyway. Now for the bad, as you can hear in the video when you go above 2 on the resistance there is a ringing (almost like a go-cart bell clutch) and it is very loud and even my air pods could not drown it out, so I kicked the resistance down to do and did my workout without any other issues.TLDR: there is a loud ringing sound when you go to higher resistance, but other than that it is overall as advertised.
