Wheat Starch 2x1lbs

I used this starch to make glue for wet mounting ink paintings on Chinese paper. It worked perfectly - it is a very finely milled, pure wheat starch - and much less expensive than wheat starch sold by art supply stores. It can also be used to thicken sauces in cooking. I did not rate the flavor as it is not used to add flavor. Delivery was very prompt.

Great thickener for any gravy, also it is gluten free... Best to mix 1-2 teaspoons with 2 oz cool water, or cool gravy and then put into your gravy to avoid lumps..

This was a good product at a good price. I did have to repackage it though, as the bags were leaking a bit.

Gives moon cakes that translucent texture. But doesn’t crunch on fried chicken the same as Potato starch

I use this to make a low protein bread for my daughter. She has a metabolic disease, so I’ve been making this bread for 18 years and will keep using this product as long as it’s available. I’ve used other brands of wheat starch, but this is the best. It is finer, so the bread rises really well and has the best and most consistent setting of air pockets. I’m very pleased with this product.

Excellent product. I do a fair amount of hiking and backpacking and for years i've been looking for a way to make a cup of MY coffee when camping. These little bags are perfect. They hold a good two large teaspoons of coffee and act much like a teabag. I get a great cup of coffee on the trail and no mess for fuss. I highly recommend them.

This product arrived right on time and was perfect for my Har Gow recipe. Mixed with some Tapioca Starch I purchased from Amazon, it came out with the perfect texture and taste. Wheat starch is almost impossible for me to find in my local grocery stores so I will definitely be making more purchases of this when I'm finished.

I couldn’t find this in my local Asian store so I purchased from Amazon. I bought this a few months ago but finally used it this week. Flour was still in good condition. However it was still pricey for 2 bags. The 3 stars is for the high price
