Why did you choose this lotion?

I have used Gold Bond products for years, this lotion works wonders on my hands. I work with a lot of cardboard and it really dries my hands out to the point my skin splits around my nails. This lotions helps them to heal and stay moisturized while they heal. I love it.

This pump is a real pain in the neck! This finally worked for me: "Twist the base of the bottle the opposite way as you are turning the pump. This will aid in opening the pump. Twist the pump to the right and release your hand from the top of the pump. It should pop right up."

Is this product the same as Gold Bond Healing hand cream??

If you are reffering to Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion, the exact same thing. It is quite thick, but if it doesn't have the same name, it is not the same exact product.

Will this be effective on a curling iron burn?

Well, this is not an aloe cream. It’s just a very thick lotion that has aloe in it. I’m sure it would be effective on a burn however, everyone is different. So you will have to decide that for yourself.
