Huge Improvement
Bought to replace the stock radio in a 2012 Toyota Aygo. This thing is an immense improvement over the stock head unit for both sound quality and functionality. The menu system is really straight forward once you get used to it. The external mic included for phone calls clips onto the sun visor nicely and the sound on the other end of the call is crystal clear. The people I've called using it so far said they didn't even realise I was in the car. Complex setup such as high/low pass filters, detailed sound options, colour customisation and other display settings can be accessed via a comprehensive menu but the basics such as bass, mid, treble and sub levels are easily available at a push of a button making it easy to tweak levels quickly out of the corner your eye without stealing focus from the road. The head unit offers enough customisation to balance my setup perfectly. I paired it with 2x Pioneer TS-G400s in the dash slots & 2x Pioneer TS-G670s in the front doors running off the head unit's built in amp, plus a self amplified Alpine SWE-815 8 inch subwoofer in the boot. The result is absolutely phenomenal in my little Aygo, the head unit pushes enough power through the Pioneers to make your ears bleed (with the high pass filter enabled at 120hz ensuring they should never pop even at full blast of course!) and the sub output provides exactly what the SWE-815 needs. So far bluetooth works flawlessly, pairing to my phone reasonably quickly as soon as I turn on the ignition. I use an Android phone and as this headunit is compatible with Android open accessory 2.0 the play/next/prev/etc buttons control the current media player on the phone (mp3 player, Spotify, etc). The head unit displays the current song title from most media players (including Spotify) and even shows the video title when playing music and podcasts from YouTube (Pssst! Use YouTube through Firefox mobile with an ad-blocker enabled and the "Video Background Play Fix" adon so you can minimise Firefox, have Waze or Google Maps on screen or even completely lock your phone while YouTube continues to play in the background when driving, you'll thank me later!). I'd highly recommend this head unit to anyone who wants a top quality bit of kit on a budget.

I was genuinely impressed by its performance
After installing the Alpine UTE-200BT in my test unit, I was genuinely impressed by its performance. Even without an external amplifier, it delivers outstanding sound quality. Paired with Pioneer TS-D65F speakers, the audio clarity and depth were remarkable, especially considering its price range. This unit offers a fantastic range of customization options, with both high-pass and low-pass filters that make a noticeable difference in sound control. When I connected a subwoofer, the RCA output provided a solid audio signal, and once properly tuned, the bass hit hard and deep, adding a powerful punch to the music. Visually, the UTE-200BT is appealing, with fully customizable lighting that adds a nice personal touch to any dashboard. USB audio worked flawlessly, right out of the box. Bluetooth connectivity, while mostly reliable, does take a moment to pair initially. The unit struggles a bit when switching between multiple devices, and after a restart, switching can be cumbersome, occasionally requiring a manual re-pairing. I experienced some rare instances where it would only connect for calls rather than music, but I suspect this could be due to an iPhone 12 compatibility quirk. Overall, the Alpine UTE-200BT is a fantastic, budget-friendly head unit that delivers in sound quality, customization, and style. Highly recommended for those looking to enhance their in-car audio experience without breaking the bank.

Colour matching
Looks almost period correct in an 90’s car. Colour matched quite well in my e36. Simple cheap stereo that works well, so far.

Amazing
Top quality Alpine sound at a bargain price with full Bluetooth audio and phone integration plus a great quality external mic with ample cable length to mount anywhere suitable. Full RGB custom colours for both display and keys allowing you to match any interior lighting. In addition added a all in one alpine subwoofer swe-815 to create a high quality system at a budget cost. Alpine has really wiped all the other competitors out, just based on sound quality alone.

Most impressive
Love this head unit, FM/Am radio and fully bluetooth, great sound quality even on standard speakers, the unit is easy to use and work out and has many useful functions, it plugged straight into my 2002 golf tdi only needed an aerial converter (£7.99) cant go wrong for the money, I'm very happy with my purchase sold and delivered by Amazon.

Perfect!
Personally I think the winning feature of this unit is the customisable colours for the display and buttons, you can match it to the car really well. Also it works really well and sounds great, couldn’t want much else for the money to be honest!

Excellent Functionality and Sound after Speaker Upgrade
Used to replace old Kenwood unit in 1995 Defender. Installation was straight forward and was originally disappointed with sound quality but with old Landy there is always a certain amount of back ground noice. Decided to invest in new Alpine under dashboard speakers and this has transformed the sound quality. This allows the sub woofer and equaliser settings to be optimised for my taste in music. Bluetooth works well to stream music from I-phone and it has the ability to set the backlight colour to your own choice.
