SAMSUNG S Pen Fold Edition

You would expect that such a top spec phone would come with the pen included like it's predecessors but unfortunately Samsung have left it out this time around and you have to buy it if you want it. Its worth the money if you use it regularly and I'm finding myself using it more than I've used the S Pens I've had before. This one doesn't need charging. It's fully functional. I had to buy a case with a pen holder or I would probably lose it because there's no storage for it on the phone itself.

Perfect pen for the fold phone, compatible and functional great value for money

I was expecting this to be more costly—not that it deserves to be—but with most new tech coming in at ridiculously inflated prices, this seems to be reasonably priced. The main requirement for using this pen is having compatible hardware, but even with a supported phone model, you are limited to the software that supports it. This means you'll often find yourself switching between using the pen and your finger to navigate and use your phone. Limits aside, this is quite the nifty device, allowing you to handwrite instead of using the keyboard, and to draw, doodle, and write in notes and canvas apps. The pen also detects how hard you're pressing down on the screen, affecting things like brush size in supported software. However, there is an issue with the pen potentially causing minor scratches to your screen if used too hard or if there's debris on the nib. To avoid this, I recommend using a screen protector and adjusting the sensitivity in your system settings if necessary. Additionally, check your pen occasionally to see if the nib needs replacing with one of the included replacements. Overall, I would recommend this pen if you plan to use it in place of the keyboard or for drawing, and have a screen protector.

as good as the original, a little expensive but deffinitely worth it. allows me to write notes then get them transformed to text. very accurate.

This was selling at almost half the usual S Pen Fold edition price when I purchased this. Really happy to be using the S Pen again since the Note days, and this one works as well as expected for the Fold 4. Still working well a year later.

Compared to my old note 9 pen, this is no much. Quality is nowhere near, nor are the functions as it doesn't have bluetooth. Quite a lot bigger might make it easier to hold but portability not so good...

Great product. A bit of getting uses to is required when drawing but that's normal for a stylus. Senses pressure brilliantly and writes exactly underneath pen nib. Make sure not to buy a phone case with magnets in as they will interfere and the pen will stop drawing around the magnet. But the separate little case for the pen in the box was a nice added extra that i didn't realise would be there and it is snug to the pen and fits great. Only downside is that samsung hasn't made it to work on the front screen.

The pen's sensitivity was low, and it sometimes failed to register taps. Within two months, the tip broke, and the remaining part got stuck inside, making it unusable. Since it couldn't be removed or replaced, the pen became completely useless. Definitely not worth the price."*

Ich schreibe bei Fortbildungen/Seminaren sehr gerne mit dem S Pen. Die Größe ist für mich nahezu ideal. Zumindest ein perfekter Kompromiss aus Handhabung und Mobilität. Die kleinen Fummelstifte die beim "Note" integriert sind/waren sind mir fürs bequeme Schreiben viel zu klein. Der große S Pen ist noch angenehmer, braucht aber halt noch mehr Platz beim Transport. Die Fold Edition hat dagegen eine angenehme Größe und ist zum immer dabeihaben grade noch klein genug für mich. Der S Pen Fold Edition funktioniert passiv. Er braucht also nicht geladen zu werden, hat keinen Akku verbaut und funktioniert dadurch immer. Deswegen kann man ihn aber dann auch nicht z.B. als Kamera-Auslöser nutzen. Mir war jedenfalls lieber, dass ich nicht dran denken muss ihn aufzuladen. Perfekt also. Trotzdem hat der S Pen einen Druckknopf verbaut. Mit dem kann man zum Beispiel die Radiergummi Funktion auslösen. Das hilft beim Schreiben, weil man dann nicht zwischen Stift und löschen hin und her muss. Am besten gefällt mir, dass eine Transporthülle mit dabei ist. Sogar Ersatzspitzen liegen mit dabei. Das hat sich auch schon einmal bewährt. Ich nutze den Pen jetzt ca. 9 Monate und eine Spitze ist mir leider gebrochen. Ich dachte dann zunächst, dass der Stift jetzt defekt ist. Es schaute nämlich kein Reststück heraus, an dem man hätte ziehen können. Nach Recherche hab ich mich dann gewagt und konnte den Stift retten: Man muss eine Nadel (oder kleine Büroklammer aufbiegen) mit dem Feuerzeug heiß machen (zum Glühen bringen). Damit kann man dann vorne leicht in den Spitzenrest stechen und wartet dann kurz. Wenn man dann zieht, bleibt der Rest an der Nadel hängen und wird mit heraus gezogen. Hat bei mir super funktioniert. Neue Spitze eingesteckt und seitdem funktioniert er wieder optimal. Wichtig zu wissen wäre noch, dass der Stift bei den Fold nur auf dem Innendisplay funktioniert (3 und 4 weiß ich es, 5 bin ich nicht ganz sicher). Aber da braucht man ihn sowieso am ehesten.

J'ai acheté ce stylet pour mon Z-Fold et j'en suis plutôt content lorsque je l'utilise. La vrai question à se poser : est-ce que j'en qi vraiment besoin ?? Pour ma part, je l'utilise 10% du temps que je passe sur le téléphone et parce que je l'ai. Sinon, je pourrais très bien m'en passer. Mais ceci reste très personnel. Si vous l'utilisez, alors vous serez forcement content de celui-ci car il est très pratique, robuste et bien fini.

Even though there are not that many features on my Fold, it's still an awesome addition to my phone. Especially when my hands are dirty and I still need to use my phone.

O produto veio com avaria. A caneta estava sem ponta e aparentemente ela foi quebrada dentro da própria caneta. Muito decepcionado com a compra e falta de qualidade com vistoria dos produtos.

Fonctionne parfaitement. Adapté au Zfold 3 que je viens d’acquérir. Étui pratique.
