I have a little Honda rebel, nothing too special but she’s mine and I wanted to keep it that way. I live in the city and regardless of what city, theft is something that can definitely happen to anyone. There are ALOT of choices out there for disc locks but this one caught my eye because of how easy you can notice it. I appreciate that for two reasons: 1. Thieves are less likely to tamper with it 2. It’s less likely you’ll forget about it, especially with the reminder cable (given most disc locks come with a reminder cable). I’ve used this lock every day and night and it works well without a problem. The only thing that’s annoying is when it storms really bad thunder and heavy rain can set it off. That’s not necessarily from a short in the lock so much as all the vibration from elements of a storm. Being honest there are a lot of good disc locks out there, and I took a chance on this one simply because it’s a small company that makes it but it paid off.

I recently picked up a Honda Grom, and was concerned with the stories that I see on Facebook and the web concerning theft. The Grom has a wet weight of 229ish lbs and anyone that is semi-strong would be able to pick it up and throw it into the back of a truck or van. This is especially concerning to me as I live in an area where theft is common. I looked online for ways to secure my cute little pocket bike, and many people referred to this neat little device. It's a little lock that will latch onto your brake rotor, and will make it a lot more complicated to roll the little bike away. It also has a terrifyingly loud alarm and sensitive motion sensor. To be honest, I didn't know if this would be of much help, but to my surprise this little thing is quite beefy. It would take a noisy grinder or cutoff wheel to remove the damn thing, and even then I don't know if it would quite make it. Definitely a plus for that. I tried rolling the bike with this lock attached, and boy it's gnarly. If some thief actually did try rolling this while sitting on the bike they would be in for a sudden (and nasty) surprise. Price is affordable, and is a no brainer for anybody that is worried for their cute little thing. A determined thief will probably still be able to get away with the bike, but this will definitely make it harder. It also helped lower my insurance! The included strap definitely helps remind me to not move the bike until I unlatch it.

It’s a good alarm I used it on a Electric moped/ scooter (E Bike) it sits very loose on my rotor but not for nothing it’s solid. It gives a warning when it’s moved it beeps 3 times, if it’s moved again it will set off. I have to say it’s not the loudest thing in the world. If you are in a brick house or thick walled house you will not hear this alarm. It’s great for In front of stores and locking over night. No one is getting this thing off without a key. You’ll hear the alarm if you are outdoors definitely but not as much if you are watching tv with all your windows shut and in a place with thick walls. DO NOT RELY ON IT CHAIN YOUR BIKE FRAMES!! It’s very easy to just take your wheel off and avoid the alarm however the alarm will definitely set off if anyone tried that but as I said if you don’t hear it then it’s easy to get away with. If you are using it just to go into a store or leave your bike overnight or locked it will work it’s almost impossible for that rotor to move. The sound will definitely scare someone away.

I was surprised as to how easy it was to attach to front brake disc and works perfect, and loud. Also features a "fail safe" chord to attach to your handlebars as a reminder that it is one there. Great product. Would recommend to augment your existing system. There is never "too many" options to secure your motorcycle, ... besides the obvious.

I got this since my bike has to be outside since my aunt is a hoarder and no room in the garage. I got it and it slid right on the holes in my brembo rotors no issues and the pin fits different sized rotors so you'll be good. I decided to test it out at night and 110db when it's 10pm-6am is pretty loud. I also have a GPS tracker in case the thieves are decent at what they do so this wakes up the hole neighborhood and if get away I can track them since they won't be too far. The only downside is this can't really be used under a cover on a windy day/night because the cover flies around. I got around this by buying a dowco guardian all weather plus cover and it's thiccc and heavy and doesn't get thrown around in wind so I can put this on with no false alarms going off

It is SO LOUD. SO OBNOXIOUS. SO SIMPLE. It's PERFECT. I haven't caught anyone messing with my Indian yet, but I love hearing this thing chirp at me occasionally during the night. Just lets me know everything is ok. If anyone WAS out there messing around, I know this alarm would let me hear about it. I definitely sleep better with this on my bike.

I got these on a Sunday night put them on and went about my day. I live in an apartment and have camera on my bike. But cameras won’t stop a u-haul rental from stealing a bike. I’m a heavy sleeper and our apartment is pretty well sound deadened. I’d been asleep for about 3-4 hours when at 2 am I wake up and hear the alarms going off. I thought it was a tv show my girlfriend had put on. Then I hear the rain. I look out the window and remember I had put alarm locks on the bikes. Both alarms are goin off and I don’t know how long they were going off for. My camera hadn’t picked anything up from 11pm to 2 am when I went sprinting out the door. If you’re indoor or at least in a nice car port these work great. But outside if it rains you can expect to piss off your neighbors at 2 am

Next day to my door delivery. I think this is a great theft deterrent device. Built strong and well made (in China) The alarm is loud and annoying enough to deter an amateur. No one is going to roll my Harley Road Glide with the brake rotor locked to a better place to pick it up on a tow truck. They'll have to slide it around. I ride over 20k a year. This will give me a little more peace of mind.

Brilliant piece of kit! Simple to use and sufficiently noisy to alert, or to deter attempts at burglary. It's quite sensitive, so a flapping rain cover on a windy day can set it off (annoyed neighbours, lol) but the fact that it is sensitive makes me feel more confident. But on a normal day, it's extremely effective: silent until disturbed by someone touching the bike. I like that it gives you a three-beep warning rather than kick immediately into alarm mode. Excellent value for money, and light to carry around.

Für eine Tour mit Übernachtung in ausländischer Großstadt wollte ich ein Bremsscheibenschloss, und hatte hier auf Amazon gestöbert. Wusste gar nicht, dass es auch welche mit Alarmanlage gibt. Hatte also dieses hier von Tchipie bestellt. Geliefert wurde Amazon üblich am nächsten Tag. War mir nicht ganz sicher ob die Geschichte mit der Alarmanlage eine gute Idee ist, nicht dass dann ständig das Dingens zu fiepen und krächzen anfängt. ABER: Bin begeistert. Wenn man das Schloss an der Bremsscheibe (an einer der Bohrungen) einrasten lässt, gibt es einen lauten, gut vernehmbaren Ton ab. - So weiß man wenigstens auch gleich ob es klappt und Batterie etc. drinnen sind. Wird das Schloss danach bewegt oder klopft man dagegen, gibt es einen Warnpiepser - kurz, knapp, aber nicht zu überhören. Wird danach weiter bewegt oder geklopft, legt die Sirene los. Es ist ein schrilles Auf- und Abpfeifen, sehr unangenehm, sehr laut. Aber genau das soll es ja auch machen. Steckt man einen der 3 Schlüssel ins Schloss und macht eine viertel Umdrehung, öffnet sich das Schloss und die Sirene geht automatisch wieder aus. Dann ist noch eine orangefarbene Strippe mit dabei, die man zwischen Schloss und Lenker spannen kann. Die leuchtfarbene Strippe soll einen daran erinnern, dass das Schloss noch an der Bremsscheibe hängt, nicht dass man sich das Motorrad beschädigt weil man es vergisst und einfach losfährt 🙈. Qualität: Das Schloss selbst wirkt sehr wertig, auch der Schließmechanismus. Die mitgelieferte Tragetasche ist aus Stoff, wirkt ähnlich wie jener den man von den 3-Punkt-Gurten im Auto kennt, also wirkt sehr sehr robust und wertig. Die orange farbene Strippe ist ähnlich einer überdimensional dicken Wäscheleine, sollte also auch eher für die Ewigkeit gemacht sein. Lieferumfang: - 3 Schlüssel - 2 Batteriepacks jeweils bereits bestückt mit Batterien (Knopfzellen) - Bremsscheibenschloss - Praktische Stofftasche um alles zu verstauen. Fazit: Alles in allem mal wieder ein Schnapper auf Amazon gewesen. Für den Preis mehr bekommen als ich eingangs erwartet hatte. Kann auf Tour jetzt bestimmt etwas beruhigter einschlafen, ... war da in der Vergangenheit oft eher ängstlich. Empfehle das Bremsscheibenschloss also ganz klar weiter.

Bene che dire, ottimo accessorio da avere assolutamente. Il prezzo è davvero irrisorio e per il resto il prodotto sembra buono. Unico difetto è la durata delle batterie che non durano tantissimo, sia chiaro 2/3 mesi li fanno tranquillamente ma poi dovete cambiarle altrimenti il blocca disco perde la sua funzione principale, quella di emettere un forte suono nel caso di movimento.

First off, the quality of this product is just mind blowing for the price. Truly. The lock is solid, constructed very well, very heavy for the size4 (which indicates quality components used in the construction as well). The alarm itself is VERY loud, which of course is the point I know but seriously though, it's loud enough that at the very least the person trying to steal your bike is going to be seen if there is anybody within a solid 1KM radius from your bike (not exaggerating this either, it really is that loud). The locking pin is solid and works just as described. The keys are also of solid construction and numbered. The reminder cord is an actual cable wrapped in high quality orange plastic. A nice touch! Something to keep in mind about this product.. This is NOT a bike lock, period. This is a bike alarm/theft deterrent device) This is a product designed to not only hopefully deter a thief from stealing your ride but also to give you more time to respond to a potential theft of your ride by alarming you of the action in real time. Also keep in mind this is designed for disc brakes (the rotor to be specific), so if you don't have disc brakes it's not that you couldn't still use it because you very easily could, it just wouldn't be as practical as is with the disc brake setup. Overall this is hands down one of the top 10 best genuinely worth the money and deliver top value products I have EVER bought off Amazon. Customer since 2014 and have bought A LOT of products to date.. I'd suggest picking up 2 as the value just can't be beat and never hurts to have the second one just to make your bike less appealing to a potential thief, remember the more things you can put on your bike to lock it up, the less chances of it being the one targeted in a group of bikes that only have one lock on them ;) Ride Safe!
