Works well with Raspberry Pi
Hooked these up to a RPi with a shift register and Darlington array. Works great with a little programming effort. Will add great visuals to the layout

Easy to hook up. Add extra 600 ohm resistor to green light to balance brightness.
These are cute little additions to add to any HO or N gauge train layout and if you add block or infrared sensors are even more engaugeing.

Good value, but connecting wires are way too thin.
It's good value. They work well with any Voltage in the range 3V to 12V. But what's with the super super thin single strand wire? A simple mishap and your signal light is gone! I have to solder some thicker multi-strand wire just to protect the single strand wires from breaking.

Surprisingly small wires.
The wires are extremely and unnecessarily small and difficult to work with. Also, I didn't notice the description says the black wire is positive. I am used to black being negative (or ground). Initially I thought none of the LEDs worked.
