Does the job well for a lower end chainsaw.

Exact fit for the saw works as well as the original.

My husband asked me to order 1 blade for his chainsaw, but I ordered 3 because they were so affordable. Am I glad I did!! The derecho that hit Iowa almost 2 weeks ago made that purchase the best decision ever! He dulled 2 of the 3, but only after running the chainsaw 12 hours a day for 3 days & 4 hours after work for 4 more days. I guess you could say we got 26 hours of cut-time per blade on a variety of tree varieties, including oak, ash & walnut.

I have an older saw and when I read the packaging on this blade, it did not state my model. But using the color match system, I figured it would fit. It fit perfectly. Blade seems of good quality. In the future I may just go by Wal Mart and purchase one, about the same price and you have the ability to "touch and feel" the product. I'm still new to chainsaws and a member of prime, so I just jumped on Amazon and found it. One thing, Wal Mart/Home Depot may be sold out, but Amazon seems to always have it in stock.I have not used this new blade yet, but I don't expect any issues.

I installed the chain backwards first and thought what a horrible chain. After looking more closely realized my problem and changed direction, ate through wood like a champ. Just bought a second for backup.

This chain is matched with the bar to fit into specific models of chain saw. There was not a chain available for the model saw that I had, this was the closest as it had the correct bar length. I was able to adjust the saw to fit the bar and chain, even though neither were the correct size for the Poulan saw that I had. Not the product problem. Poulan does not make a replacement bar or chain for my model. The chain works fine after getting it onto the saw with the replacement bar.

I needed a replacement bar and this is exactly like the original. I might have been able to find a cheaper one, however I knew when I placed the order this would work since it is the correct "color code".
