This is true. Before I purchased the book I spent a lot of time searching for examples that I needed. Pretty soon I realized that my time is more valuable than $30 I paid for the book. All the information about PSTricks collected in one 900 pages volume. Well worth the money. By the way, PSTricks allows me to produce professionally looking plots. Do not hesitate to buy the book. Well written with a lot of examples. The code for many examples could be found on the author's website.

Excellent book with clear examples. Examples are linked to other sections in the book, making navigation easy. Shows again how much is possible in LaTeX.
