Fox High Pressure Shock Pump

Accurate and easy to use! Seems well made, and quickly gets the suspension up to the right pressure. Use it on both my trail and downhill bikes and works great

I recently got back on my bike which was a mountain bike with full air suspension and change the tires for road riding. Found out low pressure in the rear when I turn on the switch and was making some unusual noise. Cannot figure out why a car battery air pump or a hand pump not working, looked into internet and found out needs special pumps to reach high pressures. I like DIYs and looked for one in Amazon. After reading reviews I decided this one, spent $10 more. Arrived quickly. Hook it up and pumped the air. Needs a little work but able to reach 150 psi. No air leaks during disconnect. Solid constructing. Good. Quality.

Well made, operates very smoothly, and the air connector is great fitting and easy to use. Oh it's black instead of chrome ,like I thought. But looks and works great. I tried a cheaper one first and waisted money. Get this! It's worth it.

This is a quality shock pump, works well, very sturdy and well made and I’m sure it will last a long time. Not sure why you’d spend more money on something fancier. I don’t use it a lot (once I set my shocks I’m good). Definitely worth it, I’d buy it again. UPDATE: Recommend you validate the pressure in your shocks with a digital gauge. The gauge on this pump is not accurate at lower pressures. I decided to check my shock and fork pressures with a digital gauge. For my rear shock at 150 PSI the pump gauge was in the ballpark, however on my Fox 34 fork the pump showed about 9-10 PSI lower than the digital gauge (showed approximately 60 instead of actual pressure of 69 PSI on the digital gauge). So I have been running higher actual pressures in my fork than I thought. I had been wondering why I had to go so low to use all the travel in my fork. Now I know it’s not really that low. Again, I suspect this analog pump is just not that sensitive at lower pressures but gets more accurate as the pressure goes up.

This pump works great on the air shocks for the snowmobile and the mountain bike. I can very easily add air and the gauge is precise. It fits in a small backpack with your other bike tools very easily.

Arrived today and used it immediately on my Cannondale Jekyll-- worked beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised at how little effort was necessary to achieve such high pressure, but then again, I'm 6' 250+ lbs, so if I can't pump it easily-- that's a major problem. Anyway, it was smooth, easy to use and did the trick with little effort. Note that when using this, you need to "over pump" just a bit to compensate for the slight amount of pressure that will leak as you unscrew it from the shock. Some people freak out over it-- i just deal with it easily enough by one or two extra pumps. For $30, it feels like a solid piece of equipment that will give me years of service.
