My son loved it
He was very excited about this product and when it came to him, he was more than happy. Excellent quality and very solid product material. Soft bullets and good shooting range. Beautiful hulk like look.

Nerf Hyperfire..... Exactly as it's Name!!!
This is one more addition to my kid's Nerf Collection. Nothing to say about quality because afterall it's NERF. Very fast firing as mentioned on the package. Extremely good built quality. The only thing is this beast needs 4 'D' size batteries which makes its use little expensive. But being a power hungry beast there's nothing surprising. Shoots 5 bullets per second. Weight is good enough and complementing to it's bulky and heavy looks.

Defective product
I've been provided with the defective product where below mentioned abnormalities were found : 1) Firstly, The product was found to be second hand as it was analysed that it has been pre used before giving it to me as 02 to 03 bullets out of 25 was found in a torn condition. 2) Drum shaped magazine was found to be defective as bullets are not going down after 10 bullets. 3) Machinery was getting stucked after every 02 to 03 fire operations which can never happen with genuine nerf product. 4) No manual for gun operations was found inside which is the another measure to predict that it's a used gun provided to me by Hamleys through Amazon. 5) As the machinery is defective, It had a very poor range. Bullets usually got stuck after every 02 round of fire which shall not happen. Overall, I had a very bad experience related with quality & performance of this gun. Shall never order again fully automated gun as you can't expect a genuine product to be delivered to you. Not worth value for money. In addition, Amazon shall ensure that only unused product shall be delivered to It's valuable customers.

Super fast and fun
Good blaster. Fast and accurate. Kids love it. Reloading is a pain. May want to look at the Nerf Infinus. D cell batteries makes this heavy and expensive to run. Thankfully, I got the Amazon basics D cell batteries, which supports well.

Great product
My son loves it. Very good product, works on expected lines. Only misleading thing was that the product description (the detailed one right on top of the product page), wrongly mentioned that 4 AA batteries are required whereas it's actually 4 LR20 batteries which fit the gun.

This is the Winner, the Best Nerf gun
I got grandkids and they are grand indeed. Did quite a bit of research because I could not afford one of everything. This is absolutely the best Nerf gun. Just an estimate but am sure it will shoot 25 shots in 10 seconds. Rather accurate as well. Better than I dared to hope. If you want the very best Nerf gun to date then this is the one to get. Three year old grandson had to be coached a bit but was thrilled. Five year old granddaughter thought it was a blast. Seven year old twin boys were jumping with excitement. There was a problem though and it was already staring me in the face before I got this gun and now it is intensified. Get safety glasses before they have a Nerf gun war. Something like "Gateway Safety 3699 Colorful StarLite Gumballs Safety Glasses, Small, All Colors Included (Pack of 10)" which are sized for kids and maybe some "eBoot 10 Pieces Silicone Eyeglass Strap Eyewear Retainers Sports Anti-slip Elastic Glasses Sunglass Cord Holder for Kids, 10 Color" to make it as safe as it is fun.

Great, and a jamming solution...
This blaster is great! Many people complain about jamming. It definitely will jam - but there is a solution. Hold down the flywheel for a bit before pressing the trigger. To stop firing when there are still darts in the drum, you should NOT release the flywheel and the trigger at the same time. Nope. You should release the trigger first, then wait a second, and release the flywheel. Why??? Ahhhhhhh!!! Maybe it was better when it was jamming! A junk Nerf gun jamming is at least something I can understand! So the darts get stuck because the flywheel is not spinning quickly enough but the conveyor belt pushes them in. So, when you let the flywheel spin for a second, then press the trigger, the flywheel is hopefully going to be actually SPINNING, and the dart is going to be like, 'I'm getting the hell out of here!' When you STOP firing, if you release both the flywheel trigger and the actual shooting trigger at the same time, the flywheel is going to stop, but the conveyor belt that pushes the darts FROM the drum magazine thingy TO the flywheel that moves when you press the trigger is going to be like, 'just shoot one more dart? Please? Just one?' And the flywheel is going to say, 'I'm not ready! Oh. We're jammed.' And THAT is why. The drum has not given me any trouble pushing the darts up while firing, which is absolutely amazing, considering the hyper rate of fire, when you don't jam it. That's right. When YOU don't jam it. Assume that it's your fault first. You didn't use it properly. Try to find a solution. Look inside. Figure it out. Then either do better next time, or it's all Nerf's fault. Only then, I say, is a bad review warranted. Some people say it eats batteries. That's expensive. You're spending four extra dollars every month. With that covered, let's move on to the pros and cons. Yep, it actually has cons. I just am saying that it's relatively easy to avoid jamming the HyperFire. Pros (yay) Firepower: five darts a second doesn't sound overly unrealistic if you compare it with all of Nerf's other unreasonable claims. Accuracy: I would expect junk accuracy from a full auto blaster, but it seems relatively accurate. Super accurate when compared with some other junk. Comfortable: the thingy in front of the drum is really comfortable to hold, and makes it feel a lot lighter and easier to move around. Plus it has a cheek rest for aiming. Yay! Style: this blaster is really stylish. It also is quite intimidating for anyone looking at the barrel. Looks cool! That was da pros (yay)! But it's time to address... the cons!!! Cons (nooooo) Can jam if used incorrectly: I think we covered this. To start firing, press flywheel and wait a second before triggering, to stop, let go of trigger, wait a second, then let go of flywheel. Comfort: the shoulder stock could be made much better. It's a flat plastic thingy with small grooves for traction. I don't mind traction, but it's flat, without any curve to fit your shoulder. The jam door is hard to open: you need to pull the button on the jam clearing door really hard to open. Weight: the HyperFire's weight is considerable. It's not really heavy, but try holding it with one hand, with your arm outstretched away from you. Mobility: see Weight. It's really hard shooting round corners without exposing yourself. To do that, you would have to hold it with one hand (see Weight) and your gun would be easily pushed to the side and you would be stupidly inaccurate. Works best in open areas. Need D batteries (not included): this is a small con; D batteries are cheap and and it's more than worth it for all that firepower. Conclusion: I would like to see a Nerf Elite blaster that beats this blaster firepower by a significant amount. The only place I probably wouldn't use it is in a place with lots of corners. I might use it anyway for the challenge, or because I'm too lazy to load a different one, or because it might not really be such a bad choice, if you're considering buying a blaster with a great firepower package, or just some sort of great blaster generally, and I'm really bad at making transitions between subjects, anyway, five stars. Great. It's like a Nerf Rapidstrike made great again.
