Great mouse
I have been using this for a few months before reviewing and it replaced the beloved Logitech G502. So far it's been working beautifully. I use this mou6for both work and gaming. It's comfy to use for long periods of time and nice and light for gaming. Connects with the included dongle perfectly and I appreciate not having to download any software. Configuration with Keychron Launcher web page has worked well for me and enables plenty of customisation options Very responsive especially at 8k polling rate with the included dongle. Bluetooth works well and is easy to switch to, every handy when using the same mouse with a work provided laptop.

Very Very Nice Mouse But The Jury Is Still Out!
I like this Keychron mouse. I like Keychron stuff in general. It's an organization that seems to think things through. Why do I think this? I have a few, older wireless mouses and some newer ones - and no, that's not a mistake. If there is more than one living mouse, they are "mice". If there is more than one piece of hardware called a mouse, they are "mouses" - imho ! Anyway, if any one of those wireless mouses has a flat battery there is no alternative but to either replace the battery or charge it up. None of them will work unless they have battery power. No way. And there's that intermittent, "I'm not connecting to your poxy computer today," issue with some of them, usually when you're desperate to get something done. If the integral, non-removable, rechargeable battery runs flat in this little beauty, guess what? You can plug the Keychron M6 8000 mouse into your computer and not only will it do its job, the job of a mouse, it'll set about recharging itself, too! That's two things at once. That's Keychron, imho. They thought this through and obviously decided that it makes so much more sense to make a device that is both wireless, so we can enjoy the peaks of technological luxury that the first world adorns upon us, and wired, so that we can survive those inevitable periods when the first world fails to adorn and that peaky technological luxuriousness dissolves into its own fragility. There are some very expensive, very, very good and most excellent mouses out there, but without a battery almost all of them are useless. Not so this little gem. By design, it has been placed in the tiny minority outside the the "almost all" majority. If it runs out of battery just plug it in and carry on using it. Why aren't all mouses made like this? The ergonomics actually work. It fits in the hand rather well. Everything is within comfortable reach. The buttons are good and the index finger wheel is really lovely. That shiny knurled, circular metal is strangely appealing and it actually seems to have some weight which gives it a premium feel... That is, except... Well, apart, that is, from that fanciful, ambitious, horizontal 'side-wheel'. It's... a bit... stiff! A bit useless, really! It's a black, plastic mismatch, for a start. It should be shiny metal. And because of its stiff, nobbily detente rotation, or lack thereof, it's quite awkward to use, especially in the upwards to the sky direction. It won't turn unless you somehow find a way of clamping the mouse down with your other fingers without pressing any of the other buttons, which is quite a challenge and not one I'm inclined to engage with. So, I haven't found a use for that side-wheel, which is sad because otherwise, this fast little black M6 8000 is great. For me, it has the right weight, it's quiet and has lots of different speeds you can select with little buttons and lights on its underside. Genuinely such a pity about the side-wheel, but it's the only complaint and not really a deal-breaker, although you would be paying for a function that is, at best, difficult to use, imho. I found it great for gaming because you can adjust its resolution and polling. Great for productivity because of its scrolling ability, accuracy and simplicity, with forward and backward buttons under your thumb, but obviously, it would be much, much better if the side-wheel was much easier to use. In the image it looks quite cool, but if you find it hard to use it quickly attracts criticism. It should be metal... It's also worth mentioning that this mouse gave me the first "that's such a good and totally obvious idea that on one could be bothered to implement" congratulatory feeling I've had in many years, so I've held on to this little device and pondered it. Consequently, the jury is still out on whether this is a keeper to add to some kind of collection that isn't a collection but could be one day, perhaps, maybe, or whether it becomes an eBay exhibit. I've had it a couple of months so I'll probably keep it. I do like using it and the ability to simply plug it in is, I've learned, a rarity among wireless peripherals. The jury is also out because I have a much more expensive Logitech mouse with a similar but rather more beautiful metal side-wheel that spins like it's weightless, but I can't just plug that mouse in and use it which, because this so obvious functionality has been revealed to me in the Keychron M6 8000, has created an annoying annoyance at an unincluded obvious feature for unlikely edge cases. If you buy this mouse you'll receive a very good, premium piece of well-thought-out hardware with a side-wheel that you probably won't need but which doesn't work very well, at least for me, because Keychron is made of humans and they don't think of everything all the time, but they did think of something that others did not. This is a darn good mouse... Plug the cable and it works. And it charges. Main scroll wheel is sublime. But that side-wheel! Oh, that side-wheel... I'm sure you see my supreme dilemma - why the jury must remain in an extended period of determination?

Great MX Master Replacement
I'd give the mouse 4.5 stars. Connection is quick and easy. 2.4ghz adapter works great. 8k polling rate is smooth as butter. Mouse is light and feels good in the hand. Only real complaint is the button to change the mouse wheel scrolling. Its very clunky/hard to press and doesn't match the rest of the mouse. Battery life has great so far.

Spectacular mouse for the weight, feature-set and price. Nothing else comparable
Lets get the bad out of the way, yes this offers features to compete with Meeses like the MX Master or the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro, but at almost half the price. So take that into account with your expectations when you notice that build quality isn't quite as premium as those devices. But knowing Keychron I am sure given time they will improve on this gen by gen. The scroll wheel having hyperscroll is exactly what I am looking for. there is a tiny bit of side to side motion so some may not like that. Also the left mouse click can be a tiny bit crunchy if pressed higher up towards the hinge. I actually sent one unit back and this is my second order. This unit is much better than the first. And I can accept that knowing how much I paid for this. However I have faith Keychron will mange to find a way to improve all this over time, they take the keyboard market very seriously, with enough support from consumers I firmly believe they will take the same attitude with their Mouse range. Come on KC you have my backing! I chose the M6 8K over the Logitech G502X as the M6's sensor works better on less consistent surfaces ie bed/sofa than the G502X. It is sooooo much lighter than a MX Master and i really do prefer the lighter mouse feel even though I'm not a gamer. And the glide for OEM skates on a productivity mouse is great, the PTFE is a good quality and has the rounded edges so there's no immediate need to replace the skates underneath, though I do have some PTFE lying around just in case I need to do a replace. Its the features of this mouse that win me over mainly. There is ZERO bloat software to install just open your (chrome/edge NOT firefox compatible) browser and go to the launch url and connect your mouse, and that’s it, you can make all your adjustments there and then it saves it to the mouse) as I said I'm not a gamer so I don't even need the super high polling rates etc. 500HZ is more than I need (which can also be set via button on the bottom of the mouse) and I set a 2mm lift off distance. Its all very friction-free and full-fat feature set. I never even knew I would like the thumb scroll wheel so much. But there are certain applications where it really is great to have it. So now I wont have a mouse without that either. And there are so much custom button/modifier key option available through the configuration settings, for those power users who rely on this kind of functionality. And the Huano silent switches are lovely, there is some conversation about their total lifetime clicks versus the older switches but I am genuinely enjoying the none-loud muted sounds in daily use, and lets be honest they are NOT going to deteriorate faster than the infamous Logitech double clicking switches. I am genuinely super pleased with this mouse and look forward to Keychrons next iterations as they are a brand I trust in the user interface device market. I only don't give it the full 5 stars because that would have been if they managed to absolutely nail initial build quality at these competitive prices. The last thing I will finish on because its so subjective, is the shape, that’s purely down to peoples hand shape/size and preferences, for me I would have preferred a slightly different shaped hump. It doesn't let my hand sit naturally further forward. I still find it very usable and comfortable, but it leads me to clicking higher up on the left mouse button hence the slight crunch on left click. right mouse click is fantastic by the way.

Perfect gaming equivalent of an MX master
The mouse is perfect for me, I wanted an MX Master however I cannot deal with the low polling rate for gaming, for me this is the next best thing. The mouse wheel takes some time to get used to as it scrolls either notch less or semi notch less but is great now I'm used to it. Button clicks are quiet and soft which is perfect for me, if you're used to normal gaming mice with hard loud clicks this will be a bit jarring.

Amazing MX Master Alternative
This is easily one of my favorite mouses I've used, especially for productivity or mixed use; I use mine for work and gaming. I've experiences weird issues with Logitechs offerings and decided to try this instead. The mouse fit's my hand perfectly and should fit most hands that tend to rest most of the hand on the mouse. When the mouse goes into sleep mode, it reconnects very quick, and switching from bluetooth connection to dongle connection is fast and very useful. This is my first dedicated mouse with silent switches and it's wonderful if you're in a quiet office. The scroll wheel is a little loud, but has the ability to lock and unlock, which changes how loud the scroll is. The weight is perfect as it's not too heavy or light, making it great for many uses in my opinion. The battery is also fantastic as the first cycle for me lasted 2+ months using it quite often everyday. My favorite feature is not needing a dedicated software to adjust settings. You can open a web browser and adjust settings through an easy to use web app. This is the first mouse that I have had that didn't leave me wanting something more to make it perfect and would recommend this to anyone looking for a very solid all purpose mouse!

Disappointing
Very very disappointed, such a high price point for a mouse that is worth less than a 20 dollar Logitech. I purchased it because I wanted to replace my Logitech Master 3S since it had a rubber coating that attracted dust and sweat. This mouse is just fine material wise, a smooth plastic, but the whole point I'm righting this review is the scroll wheel. It's the WORST one I ever tried. When you move the mouse even lightly, the scrollwheel bounces left and right like a little ball, and when you scroll, the WHOLE mouse vibrates, it's like holding a controller. I don't recommend buying until they fix this issue, especially at this price, it's not just my mouse.

Hands down one of the best value ergonomic mice that I’ve ever used...
I’ve been using this mouse for multiple months now and honestly it has impressed me way more than I expected! I’ve tried a lot of other mice over the years from Logitech, ROG, Razer, and other gaming/ergonomic brands, and somehow this ended up becoming my favorite overall. Before this, I mainly used my Logitech MX Master 4 along with a few gaming mice like the Logitech G Pro series. The MX Master felt nice at first, but after getting used to higher refresh rate mice (1k/8k hz), going back to 125hz honestly felt terrible and not responsive. Everything felt sluggish and bloated, almost like the cursor was dragging behind your movement. The skates also never felt smooth to me (especially on a glass mousepad) and the mouse itself always felt heavier than it needed to be. I also tried lighter gaming mice like the G Pro lineup, and while they were great for gaming, they became uncomfortable during longer work sessions. After consistently sitting at a computer for 7-12+ hours a day working, browsing, and gaming, my hands would usually end up cramped and uncomfortable, which made me realize that comfort matters a lot more than people think, especially for daily use. That’s what led me to trying the Keychron M6. I was skeptical at first because I wasn’t very familiar with Keychron and had never actually used any of their products before, but it honestly turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made for my setup. Right out of the box the experience felt premium. Packaging was clean, everything was sealed nicely, and setup was incredibly easy. The mouse immediately felt smooth on my glass mousepad and even worked great on my cloth pads too. The skates glide extremely well and the overall movement feels very responsive and natural. The 8K polling rate is genuinely noticeable too, especially on higher refresh rate monitors. Even switching between 1000hz and 8000hz is useful because you can actually customize the experience however you want it to be. The software experience also surprised me a lot. For this price range, Keychron honestly has some of the best software and physical mouse features I’ve ever used. You can customize buttons, polling rate, DPI, connection modes, and basically tune everything exactly how you want it without the software feeling bloated or annoying, especially since you can run it directly in your web browser without needing to install anything. I also really like that you can switch between bluetooth, their 2.4ghz receiver, and wired mode. The wired mode doubling as an off mode is also a nice touch. Everything overall just feels practical and designed by people who actually use computers daily. As for the actual feel, I first wasn’t sure about how the silent clicks were because I was used to louder tactile switches, but after using it for longer sessions I actually started liking them. Not hearing constant loud clicking for hours while working is surprisingly nice. The infinite scrolling mode is another feature I ended up using way more than expected. It feels weird at first, but once you get used to it, scrolling through documents, code, or long web pages becomes incredibly smooth and fast. On the other hand, the tactile scroll mode feels a little strange in comparison in my opinion, but it’s still nice to use when you want more precise control. Comfort-wise this mouse has been amazing for me. I’ve never had hand cramping or fatigue issues using this, even after very long sessions. My hand posture feels very natural and ergonomic without feeling oversized or awkward. My only small complaints are that the horizontal scroll wheel could feel a little bit smoother, and that the harder tactile scrolling mode on the main wheel feels slightly odd at sometimes. But honestly, those are very minor compared to how much this mouse gets right overall. For the price, I genuinely think this is one of the best value mice you can buy right now. It competes directly with mice that cost significantly more from these big brands while still offering features and performance that honestly feel ahead of them in some areas. This mouse completely changed my opinion of Keychron as a brand. It replaced my MX Master 4 entirely and I honestly don’t see myself going back. Therefore I would highly recommend giving the Keychron M6 a try, especially if you want something ergonomic, smooth, responsive, customizable, and genuinely enjoyable to use for both work and gaming. Hope this helps!

MX Master's Lower Quality Alternative with Better Features
This is basically an alternative to Logitech MX Master mice, but with a higher polling rate for those who want productivity and gaming features together. I've got the 8K version, as it was the only one with the metal scroll wheel. With a price tag of $140 this is an expensive mouse. My main problems: * Mushy left and right buttons with low feedback * Left and right buttons are not silent and also have noticeably different noises. My left button sounds way louder and cheaper * The scroll mode selector button should be pressed hard to change mode * Scrolling does not wake the mouse up so reading a long documents requires constantly moving the mouse to stop it from going into power save * Plastic side scroll wheel that is difficult to use * The overall shape of the mouse is uncomfortable for me * Keychron refers warranty to the supplier rather than upholding their own product
