Review: So Far It's An Awesome Phone. - Bought this for my teenage son who broke his Samsung J5. Intended on this just being a temporary replacement til I thought he deserved another expensive phone. Well he got the last laugh as this phone outshines his Samsung completely!! He absolutely loves it. The screen is large, sharp and clear, the sound is great, the power and speed is amazing, the battery life is unbelievable. He's constantly watching youtube, playing games, or doing something with his phone and his phone last at least a day and a half. The camera is very good but not the best I've seen. But better than his Samsung J5. Very good phone for the price. Review: It's ok for the money it cost - Very good selfie camera but the back one is not good if the situation with the light is not perfect. The battery runs out fast. The quality of the phone is good and it's fast. Apps running smoothly.

A good phone with annoying software flaws.
I purchased this phone November 12th 2018. Initially I was very pleased. Great specs with a good screen. The photos are good quality as is the video. The handset is quick and never slowed down no matter how many things were running. I completed the software update as soon as it was received and all was good. After a month of running the phone the touch screen became really flaky. You would touch the screen to scroll and it would jump around all over the place. This made it incredibly frustrating to use especially trying surf the net and the killer was trying to type a message became impossible. A restart of the phone would put it back to normal but it never lasted long. I put up with this until the phone then developed sound problems. The speaker stopped working although there was nothing physically wrong with it and when I plugged in my headphones (all three sets) only one speaker was working. It was incredibly frustrating. A day before the phone was sent back the sound returned to normal. The phone is a good phone and the specs are great but the software has too many glitches that make it annoying to the point of returning it.

Feature rich phone at a budget price.
The best entry phone I have brought so far and it would be hard to justify buying a premium phone after using this…. but why? I recently brought and reviewed the LEAGOO M9 as my wife LG G4 over heated. She has now broken her M9 in less than 2 months, so I was going to buy another and the M9 (under £90) had many great features. However, it was missing at least 2 key features and at just over £110 this new Leagoo T8S blows it away. I normally review ‘budget’ phones and discuss their strengths given the value you have paid, but my goodness… this is the first entry phone that really delivers in all areas. It really is a fantastic phone and this is why. 4G – Massive improvement from the M9. You do need 4G when you are out and about. Streaming is great. Screen – The screen quality is very clear. You cannot see any pixels and it is also more responsive with good viewing angles. Octa Core – This makes it very fast when mutli-tasking. Storage – 32 gig of storage is great for most users. Great Camera – Much improved on the M9 and produces good pictures inside the house and out. Furthermore, the components in this phone really tell you that this is Leagoo trying to make a big impact in the competitive entry level phone market. Ram is supplied by android market leaders Samsung, storing by leading suppliers Sandisk and main rear camera Sony. This is a company trying get brand recognition by using premium manufacturers. However, the improvements go far beyond the upgrades in features. For me, one of the most noticeable improvement is the build quality, it feels very premium. It reminds me of my old HTC M9 in feel and in looks. Sure, it’s not got the sleek modern look of the Samsung S8 or S9, but it is still quite a pretty unit. However, this does come at a loss of one of my favourite features in budget phones and that is the ability to change batteries. This is a seal unit, so you are confined to the life of the battery, this is a slight shame. I could go on about the unlocking features, the battery life or camera features, but really all I can say is if this is your budget range, this is your phone. My wife totally loves it. Just chuck in a cheap £10 sim only deal bags of data, texts and calls and your savings compared to the high-end phones is ridiculous. Overall • Great Screen Quality • Camera is sharp and Clear • Fast and responsive • Premium Feel • Good storage • 4G I hope you found this review helpful. :)

Great look and feel but...
I have had 4 Leagoo phones, but this will be the last. The handset has a great look and feel, and the feature list is very impressive. The image on the screen is excellent, and the cameras take a good picture. However, there are problems with getting sound from apps. Phone calls were OK, but other app with sound output are very intermittent. Leagoo sent an email saying that they knew of the problem, but that it was fixed with a system update - it doesn't seem to have been. As I have a failing memory and I rely on the phone for alarms, I cannot trust this device. It also crashes regularly, rebooting itself two or three times a day. The last time this happened - the final straw - it deleted my contact list and corrupted the SD card to the point where I couldn't use it in other devices until I reformatted it in my desktop PC. Having repacked the phone for return, I reverted to my previous phone, a Leagoo Elite 5. This now also regularly crashes software - if I want to listen to a sound file, or play a game, I generally have to restart the relevant several times before it is stable. A shame - the phones have great potential I think, but I'm not wasting any more money on Leagoo handsets.

Great Phone for price.
Bought this phone for less than £100 brand new. Was not sure what to expect. Initially sound did not operate on u tube app. Tried a factory reset and phone has been working perfectly ever since. Have had numerous other mid -low end phones and this is by far the best for value. I put it about the same for speed as my previous much more expensive phones, camera is not fantastic but good enough and it has a battery that under moderate use lasts all day. If you want a cheap phone which performs like a mid range phone would strongly recommend this one.
