Bartwichse Moustache Wax, Styling Pomade - Hazelnut

First of all, Brother's Love is the best name for any moustache wax, bar none. Other than that, this is absolutely the product you have been looking for if you want your handlebar moustache to keep its shape and hold its curl all day long. Easy to apply and comb through, it is not actually a wax, per se. Rather, it has a consistency similar to heavy whipped cream. I found the scent to be at least clean, if not exactly pleasant. After several minutes it will dry to a firm hold while still remaining slightly tacky, allowing you to do some minor reshaping throughout the day if the need arises. Afterwards, it rinses away cleanly with warm water and a little shampoo. The Hazelnut color is also great for guys who have dark hair but a lighter or slightly graying moustache, giving it just that extra oomph. However, if your hair is truly blonde or mostly grey, you'd be better served by the clear variety. So, evidently, the Germans know a few things about how to make a good moustache wax too!

Joe’s review from February 9, 2020 is pretty much spot-on, as the saying goes, although I think he was kind to give the product 3 stars. I wanted this mustache wax to work for me, and was inspired by the positive reviews - but any ‘stache ‘wax’ that is the consistency of “whipped cream”, as noted by one reviewer, is a no-go for me. Putting this wax in my moustache was a cause for alarm - the coloration makes one look totally artificial, the aroma was overwhelming, and the hold was underwhelming; and this isn’t an inexpensive tube. Joe is correct; this is akin to a highfalutin’ Clubman. I will observe, however, that I have found my pursuit of the perfect moustache wax to be like the quest for The Grail - I’ve likely thrown away 2-3 hundred dollars trying different waxes. *IF you are a potential purchaser of this ‘wax’, take heed - as I did not - of its description as a ‘styling pomade’ - that is not a WAX that will serve most men well.

This is one of many brand mustache waxes that I use. I own a salon and I'm a proud member of the Official Beard and Moustache Club of NC. The hold is firm and the wax has staying power. The tint is a bit strong. It will make your 'stache look darker than natural but will hold handlebars and twists and whatever you throw at it. It is a tad too dark for me.

Good, but not much better than the cheap Pinaud's you get at CVS, and not,in my opinion, worth the price difference. It goes on soft but stays soft, and doesn't have much holding power, which is what I need the stuff for.

This is the best mustache wax. I have a pretty long handlebar mustache and this holds my curls all day with very little maintenance. This gives the look of a dry stache and not an over oiled or gelled stache plus it smells AWESOME!!!

I just ordered a second tube. This isn’t stache wax, I’m not really sure how to describe it but it’s far superior in terms of hold, styling and wear.

The title Good Flavor may seem strange, but as any person who uses mustache wax knows it's gonna get in your drinks and food. I have used other waxes that taste terrible, but I appreciate that this wax tastes not unpleasant. I prefer the clear wax, but the hazelnut works too. It will definitely darken light hair.

I have tired well over a dozen products for curling my moustache and this product is by far the absolute best I have tried and it makes me want to keep my handle bar:)
