Wool Player Fedora

Really nice hat. Fits to my head size perfectly.

I needed to replace a worn dress hat for my winter wardrobe. I saw the Kanga Wool Player Hat. I liked the looks of the hat as I could roll the brim down, like my old one. The hat fits well but is not as sturdy as my old hat which was 25 years old. Like the saying goes, "they don't make them like they used to". So I'm hoping that the hat will fare well with me. I'm somewhat confident that, it will work out. I ordered another in the brown color to go with my brown coat as my first one was black. Over all I'm pleased with my purchase.

Sizing was fine. Quality was great. I only returned it because its shipped in an envelope bubbler package and came flat. Then after trying to get the wool hats shape back I couldn't get two permanent creases out so why bother - it should come as pictured not a damaged hat I have to spend days trying to rehab.

The more I wear this hat the more I like it! SIZE: I used the measuring guide and my head dimension was on the small end of the Large range, so as I expected the fit was slightly large. This was fixed by spraying water all around the inside of the hat around the sweat band area and then drying with a hair blow-dryer. This easily shrunk the band by about 1/4" which was about what I needed. It was still just a tad large so I repeated the treatment with a little extra water on the outside and this took it down another 1/8" and it is perfect and I didn't ruin the hat! COLOR: I purchased the "tobacco". The online pictures were pretty true to color on my iPad. It's a lush brown with a bit of red in it ... Nice! MATERIAL: It's a wool blend. The picture may lead you to believe it is a "starchy/stiff/hard" construction hat. If this is what you're looking for, you may be disappointed. It is a soft, somewhat thin and flexible material but does hold the shape shown and seems to be a pretty quality fabric. The hat comes with a molded plastic holder which I put it on when I'm not wearing it to keep the shape. STYLE; This is my first Trilby style hat and I'm happy with it because I wanted a kind of low key, "clean" style without a flamboyant ribbon band or fake "pheather" stuck in it. Even the Kangol branding is downplayed but nice.

Very classy , goes with dress casual jeans and T shirt, or anything deemed appealing to the wearer and passers by!

Kongol is a well known brand and the hat should be excellent. Unfortunately the hat isn't up to my expectation. I ended up buying an additional hat of very similar design which fits better and is better made for less than half the price. I'm a bit disappointed. I'm sure the Kongol will get use but not when I care about looking sharp.

Chapeau de bonne qualité que j'aime beaucoup. Ayant mesuré mon tour de tete a 58cm j'avais pris la taille "FR : L" (Large) mais a reception je me suis apercu que le chapeau etait trop grand . Apres un renvoi pour echange en taille "FR : M" j'ai recu un chapeau a ma taille et le probleme etait reglé . Merci Amazon pour la gestion de l'echange qui fut extrement rapide . Voici un petit tableau des tailles qui pourront aider les prochains pour faire le bon choix 53-54 = XS : X-Small 55-56 = S : Small 57-58 = M : Medium 59-60 = L : Large 61-62 = XL : X-Large 63-64 = XXL : XX-Large

Era un regalo, vedo che è piaciuto, perciò promosso. La taglia L corrisponde più o meno a una 59. La foto mostra un colore un pochino più scuro del reale...sembra un grigio fumo, invece è proprio grigio classico. E' piaciuto comunque!!!

Dieser Hut hat bisschen was von " Rocky", ich liebe 🤟 ihn einfach und habe ihn in 3 Farben, juhuu !!!! 😉 Er ist das Geld 💰 wirklich wert, fühlt sich richtig gut an auf der Murmel 🤠
