very cool map way different than the traditional road atlas.
Huge map that details the more adventurous items you would want to see instead of an exahstive road atlas. If you are looking for a map that has every road, path and stop sign marked this is NOT it. If you want one that shows the camps/stops/interesting things to see THIS IS it!.

Nice foldable map of Botswana
This is so good that someone "borrowed" it on my trip to Botswana and never returned it. I'm going to have to purchase another copy!

A good map but somehow I can't see on park in southwest Botswana
Its good map but somehow I can't find one park in southwest Botswana that mostly straddles South Africa and Namibia. I wish the map showed Botswana and all the borders and border areas clearly.

Good General Map
Waterproof, rugged and with details that one would expect from National Geographic. One side is Northern Botswana, the other side is South Botswana. The photo insets are unnecessary and would have liked to see more of the mapped area taken up by the photos.

"So Far"
"So Far" means that I've used it, for about 15hrs,to plan a very detailed itinerary for a 26 day trip from Joberg, W & N through Botswana, then from Kasane W through Namibia almost to the ocean [- did you know that a Large swath of the coastal area requires a permit, neither did I until I got the map.!!! ] then S, all the way to Fish River Canyon, & back to Joberg. In those areas- the ones Off the beaten track, it shows many "tracks" *. I've done lots of this kind of travelling, so On PAPER it seem great, But the Proof is in the Pudding. The map paper seems excellent, spillit a little water- seems water & jam-roof, the detail is awesome, ........... From the Armchair, excellent.
