Cold Steel Medieval Training Dagger

I did get scared after ordering this item that it was actually made of metal but it is made from a fairly light-weight rubber that is easy to carry and hold. I did expect it to be smaller the it is but it is very nice and good quality. The size and durability is a great value.

VERY beefy training knife, easily the biggest one I own now. Compared to the others this feels closer to a short sword. Very sturdy too, with just the right amount of flex!

I got this dagger thinking I'd get a 8inch blad .... nope it's 10 1/2 inches Very very sturdy even the hilt guard is strong and bounces back .... it's not that heavy and as u can see it bends well but not when impacted as block only when thrusting forward the blade bends Me and my 8 year old son have been play for a few years with bokkens and foam ... I've never gotten a cold steel dagger but incomparison to cold steel bokkens it's a tad softer but deffently had quality ... I can guard no problem even against larger or full size swords

Will: Provide a greater tool than your basic knife for training, this helps students assume from now on that every knife is the worst case scenario, this knife. Provide a safe tool that punishes mistakes that could cost your life or anyone else's. Will not: Provide students with basic survival instincts other than a lemming's.

Perfect for my ren faire outfit. Easy to paint to make it look more realistic. "Blade" part has words on it so not great for close up pictures but possibly can sand off.

This is like the fourth practice sword/dagger I've gotten from the Cold Steel Co. I believe they are the best thing on the market for what they are, and their competitors just aren't as durable/pleasant-to-use(?). In my hand, this is a Dagger (roughly the length from elbow to middle finger in length), but in my One-year-old Son's hand, this instantly becomes something like an Arming Sword of old. He holds it well and can manipulate the weight of the blade with relative ease, so I'm thinking I'm going to incorporate this item in his next Halloween costume. Super-Durable, great value for what you're getting, and if you ignore the tip (could easily take out an eye), the blade is dull, with around a centimeter or so of width, so it would be really hard to add an edge even if you wanted to. Perfect for Younger kids to train with, or for costumes, or even wall decoration. It's even long enough to bridge the gap in-between my wall mount, so it can display along with my longer swords! Extremely worth the price! UPDATE: I bought a second one to match the one my son has. On sale for like 30% off, with free shipping, around 9 usd. GREAT PRICE! even at full price, I would still think this is a screamin' deal.

Overall a good, sleek build. Weight was comfortable throughout. Texture is like a very sturdy foam plastic. Size is around whats advertised. Completely blunt. Overall did get a refund but they said I could keep it, but it is decent value.

La daga de entrenamiento es muy útil si te dedicas a la esgrima medieva. También si va a ser usada para un disfraz o un cosplay. No es un juguete así que no lo recomiendo para niños. Así mismo recomiendo ponerle cita al mango ya que se puede resbalar por el material del que está hecha.
