Red Kite Sleeptight Travel Cot - Grey

We’ve used the Red Kite Sleeptight Travel Cot for a number of trips, and I’m thoroughly impressed. It’s incredibly easy to set up and fold down, which makes traveling with a toddler so much less stressful. The compact design means it fits perfectly in the car (and even a large suitcase), and doesn’t take up much space at home when not in use. The build quality is great—sturdy enough to feel safe and secure but lightweight enough to move around as needed. The neutral grey color is stylish and works well in any setting. My toddler sleeps comfortably in it, and the mattress provides decent support for a travel cot. The only thing I would suggest to make it even more comfortable is to add a foam mattress or additional padding as the mattress provided is only slightly padded and being made of a material that is easy to clean, it does make rustling sounds when the little one moves around. For the price, this is really good value. Whether for travel or as a secondary cot for visits to grandparents/relatives, it’s a fantastic choice. Highly recommend.

Light travel cot that folds up nice and small. We had the same problem with the sides not clicking into place and holding that others reported - but only until we figured out that we had to pull the middle of the base up a little on the small hoop that's there so that the base folds up slightly. Then the sides click into place easily and the base / bottom of the cot can be pushed down into place. It's a bit tricky because the manual is not very clear but once you figure that out, it works a treat. It needs a separate mattress that unfortunately doesn't fold up as nicely for obvious reasons but the cot has mash sides that guarantee breathability and does just as it's supposed to do.

I recommend it wholeheartedly, it is very practical, easy to assemble and disassemble, works like an umbrella, has two wheels and is easy to move. It is not too big, and at the same time has enough space for the baby to move freely and safely. It is transparent on all four sides so that you can always see the little one, and he can see you. One little thing should be understood when assembling, after that everything goes easily and quickly. It is important to first align all four edges, just by touching it works by itself, and only then you need to press the bottom down and everything is in place. Disassembling is even easier, you just lift the bottom and it folds like an umbrella. This mechanism makes it very safe so that it cannot bend or collapse on its own. Equally good for home and travel.

Easy to assemble and good quality for the price. Also folds away compactly so is convenient size to travel with. Just to note though the base provided is not thick enough to be used as a mattress, even though it says it comes with a mattress, this is false. So you would need to buy an additional mattress with the cot.

Please don’t think that because this travel cot (which doubles as a playpen) is much cheaper than others of the same or similar design, that it’s of inferior quality; it isn’t. This cot is exactly the same as one I purchased previously, which cost me well over £100, and that was 4 years ago! I think that my previous purchase was likely a case of paying over the odds for a popular brand name to be honest. This cot is absolutely brilliant; it is extremely sturdy, exceptionally well made & is very easy to put-up & take down. It folds away for easy storage & even has a sleeve to cover it & keep it clean when not in use. The cot has a sturdy ‘mattress’ (well, floor) which is slightly padded, but does require additional padding (like a small duvet or something similar) in order to ensure that your little one is more comfortable when sleeping. The mattress is not like a ‘proper’ cot mattress at all, but is a thinish (approximately 1cm thick I’d estimate) foam layer over the hard cot ‘floor’. The floor/mattress is ideal for your child to stand & sit upon whilst playing in this travel-cot-come-playpen, as it is so sturdy. The mattress/floor actually folds around the ‘collapsed’ cot & is secured using strong Velcro when packed away for storage. I guess that you could purchase a mattress separately for added comfort. I’m confident that the mattress’ firmness is absolutely perfect for ensuring that your little one is safe & comfortable whilst playing, sitting, standing and sleeping in his/her playpen. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase; this travel cot is exceptionally well made & is much cheaper than others that I’ve checked-out of similar/same design. Yeah, I definitely recommend this travel cot!

I bought this travel cot with the Brillars thick travel cot mattress (93x64x6cm) and Yoofoss fitted sheets (95x65cm). They were all perfect together. I was so impressed with the actual cot. Super easy to unpack and put away... so easy I didn't even bother with the instructions. Packs aways to a good size so its easy to load in the car... and handle makes it easy to carry. Once set up, the cot is pretty sturdy. The mat that is comes with is pretty firm but is fine if you don't want to buy a mattress but we needed to use the cot for a longer period so wanted to get one as not sure my baby would settle on the mat it came with. The only negative is how deep the mat is, as it's hard work on the back lifting the baby in and out, however, the majority of cots are like this and it's not really a fault. Was great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Little one sleeps well in this cot but we had to buy a separate mattress as the one supplied seemed a little hard. Very portable and easy to set up. Great for Holidays and overnight stays anywhere.

Was not the one I wanted as the Graco I wanted was out of stock but I’m glad because I love this one. Sturdy and love it has wheels on one end when you want to move. Pull middle up halfway before attempting to click sides in place. Once you know that it’s easy peasy.

Esta cuna de viaje ha sido una gran compra. Es fácil de montar y plegar, muy ligera y cómoda para mi bebé. Además, se siente segura y tiene espacio suficiente para que mi pequeño se mueva sin problemas. Perfecta para vacaciones, visitas a familiares o simplemente para tener en casa como cuna extra. La recomiendo totalmente a otros padres. No solo es cuba de viaje lo uso como corral para mi bebé fue lo mejor que pude hacer para poder hacer cosss en la casa mientras ella juega mejor imposible confortable y tiene varias opciones cuba de viaje

Se cercate un box leggero e compatto è il prodotto che fa per voi. Non è molto grande, ma sicuramente per i primi mesi del neonato va più che bene. Comodo e di buona fattura. Prezzo inferiore a tutti gli altri sul portale. Consigliato.

Lo cogí con oferta y para regalo. La probé en casa para ver qué todo estuviera OK y me sorprendió lo fácil que es de montar y desmontar. El tamaño y peso están muy bien para llevarlo por ahu. No entiendo de colchones para bebés, pero la espuma parecía correcta para usarlo de forma puntual (en viajes...)
