PS4 500GB and Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)

I bought this PS4 500GB for around £230, with Red Dead Redemption 2 included. Totally happy with purchase. The deal was much better than buying them seperately, with RD2 going for around £50 at the time (best price) and the PS4 on its own going for slightly more than the price I paid for both together as a package deal. The console is superb all round, and so far the 500GB vs 1TB doesn't seem to have been a problem with saves, though I suppose I'm more limited regarding how many games I can have installed at one time. The game itself is awesome in many ways, huge and expansive, wonderful graphics and story and flavour. One small concern is the sheer number of different controls you have available in different modes - there's a lot to learn - but it's still early days and I'll probably master them in time. Patience is needed in this game! But overall, a great deal - so, so worth the money for the vast hours of quality fun I'll get from it, and the multi-functionality of the PS4 is a very nice added bonus! Defo worth the 5 stars.

Being a PC gamer I never really considered the concept of buying another console but considering the fact that I could be waiting months even years to play this on my platform of choice I had to jump on a console. now in my honest opinion the PC will always be where my heart lies but to give credit where credit is due a PlayStation 4 is extremely easy to use the games look amazing and run well red dead redemption 2 as that was what came included with my bundle was well worth the wait I've only just started to sink my teeth into the storyline and I'm excited to see where it goes and even more so for the multiplayer. If I was to recommend anybody on what they should do when it came to getting a system to play games on of course 100% of the time I would recommend getting a decent computer but if you need a console for whatever reason the PS4 is the least convoluted the least cluttered and one of the easiest to use and on the bright side you can buy an adaptor so you can plug in any controller you like as I myself am not a big fan of the DualShock controller but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Got this earlier than expected that was great had trouble with the hdmi cable it came with but I think that was because my TV is HD not 4khd once I got it up and running I was very happy red dead redemption 2 is a stunning game how it didn't win game of the year at the baftas is beyond me

This console with RDR2 was a bargain at just 249.99! It is the slim PS4 version, which makes it one of Sony's newer consoles. The graphics are fantastic on all games and the console itself is easy to store and use. 4* rating because controller is a bit faulty but I contacted seller and they will send a new one out. Love this system!

Bought this primarily to play red dead having sold my gaming pc 8 months ago. So far very impressed with this and amazed by the graphics processing ability provided by such a small piece of kit. Love the fact I can just leave it to drop into rest mode and pick up whenever.

Bought from warehouse deals, advertised as Used - Like New. On arrival, console refused to accept or eject disks . Attempting to update the system software resulted in error SU-42118-6. Console was essentially unusable, most likely a hardware issue with the disk drive. Obviously hadn't been checked correctly to make sure it was working before being advertised as a warehouse deal.

No complaints about the PS4 but within a couple of uses the controller developed a major drift on the joystick controls. Ended up having to buy an additional controller which works fine. To give Amazon Customer Service credit, they did offer to help but I've ended up just putting up with it as a spare.

The console is fine but the game that came with it “Red Dead Redemption 2” sickened me. It wasn’t for me at all cause of the being drunk part, the violence, the killing of innocent creatures, animal skinning and blood, breaking the law, killing people and the collecting things bit is too much( 20 dream catchers and numerous dinosaur bones, ridiculous.

I got my Console, at first it didn't work as there was a memory error and there was a small damage on the console 2 days later PS4 is working fine Happy with my purchase
