I researched before buying my Hi-fi cable and found the expert-recommended AWG 12 gauge. So I choose this thickness. Why pay the excessive price for Hi-Fi cables when this one does the job, and the quality is just as good. At £1.75 per meter, you cannot complain. I had to thin the wire to fit into the speaker connectors. I am not sure whether this reduced the sound quality but listening to my music, I would say not. I think the cable is manufactured in Germany so expect good quality. Overall good quality audio cable for the price.

Really good speaker cable. Similar size to the 79 strand stuff but the coating is slightly transparent which means you can twist the wires the correct way before terminating them into banana plugs.

I switched from bi-wiring to a single run with this cable and the transformation is unbelievable. My other cable must have had imperfections.

Cables are always over looked when looking at upgrades and I am the kind of buyer who reads like all the reviews etc on products. And apart of me thought, "hey, thick cable is good for sound, better than the competition. Let's go for it." I was all excited about this arriving. With Covid, this arrived 6 months after purchase (no fault of Amazon or the seller I live in Switzerland and we had logistical problems). But this cable this fell flat on it's face. When I say "fell flat" I really mean it. It made the sound flat" my grans cheap QED, 2 pounds a meter in 2004 sounds way better and it arrived at the same time too. What didn't I like? It lacked detail in the mids and no tingy details in the trebble. The cable made my speakers feel heavy and dull. When listening to Damien Rice, it lacked the quivers in the voice and really made the experience disappointing. I then went out and bought QED XT40i cables instead. Sure the price point is not worth comparing, (apples and oranges) but I just think this was 30 pounds wasted and I would send it back if I could (but I can't now). If you are upgrading from out of the box cables, this might be an upgrade, but if you are a HiFi enthusiast, are passionate about sound, your money is better spent on a different product. So disappointingly, I give this a negative review. I guess my negativity is a little over emphasized by those who thought this was a great product here on Amazon. Can't win them all. What's my gear? Roksan and a Yamaha AS2200 amps (both amps sounded horrid), running a Rega P1, Klipsch RB 81 mrk II and an Arcam CD player.

Il cavo si presenta di ottima qualità, doppio, pesante e con il rame più doppio che io abbia mai visto. Se non siete pratici e non avete la pinza adatta per spellarlo portatelo da un elettricista come ho fatto io perché l’impresa è davvero difficile e si corre il rischio di danneggiarlo, oltretutto la parte di rame è talmente grossa che si fa molta fatica a farla entrare nei “buchetti” dei diffusori. Il suono del mio impianto audio è oggettivamente migliorato. Se amate le cose veramente di qualità ve lo consiglio.

Comprato il cavo per sostituire il precedente cavo da pochi Euro preso anni fa, ho sostituito i 2 canali frontali e il centrale su impianto 5.1. con sintoamplificatore Denon AVR 3310. Devo dire che (se pur scettico all'inizio) la differenza si sente. Ora il suono risulta più chiaro, avvolgente. Con i vecchi cavi si percepiva a volte qualche distorsione nel suono..delle strozzature sopratutto dal canale centrale. Il mio è un giudizio dato dopo alcuni gg di utilizzo. Come suggeritomi da un amico audiofilo, la differenza tra un cavo scarso e un cavo decente fa la differenza. passare da un cavo decente ad uno di centinaia di euro...non è la stessa cosa. si avverte molto meno la differenza. Caratteristiche del cavo: - guaina morbida che avvolge bene i filamenti di rame. - flessibilità: buona, si riesce anche a fare delle curve con il cavo pur essendo di sezioni generose nel complesso. - odore: aperto il pacchetto si avverte un odore un pò fastidioso, acre, che pero' si sente solo avvicinando il cavo al naso. - installazione: con un taglierino tagliando in mezzo le 2 sezioni si riesce agevolmene a separare i 2 poli. la guaina resta sempre perfetta e protegge i cavi in rame - nel cavo ci sono impresse le informazioni con indicazione OFC e "made in Germany" nel complesso posso dire che è un buon prodotto.

Hatte zuvor aufgrund verschiedener Kabel Differenzen bei der Schwingungen der tiefton Membrane festgestellt. Also linker Lautsprecher gab mer Schwingungen von sich als rechts. Hatte 2,5mm Vollkupfer links und 4mm rechts allerdings kein Vollkupfer. Nach ersetzen durch dieses Kabel sind die Differenzen beseitigt. Eigentlich logisch aber dachte nicht aufgrund von 2m Kabellänge, dass es sich so stark bemerkbar macht.

E' un cavo serio e lo si nota subito, visto il peso e rigidità superiori al normale. Ho preferito terminarlo con delle ottime banane placcate in oro 24k (a chi dovesse interessare, sono della Ugreen e si trovano qui su Amazon) e rifinire il lavoro con delle guaine termorestringenti, che aiutano a preservare dall'ossidazione il prezioso rame OFC, irrobustiscono l'accoppiamento tra cavo e connettore, impedendone il distacco, e in più ne migliorano anche la presa tra tra le dita. Alla fine il risultato è stato un cavo di potenza degno di questo nome, robusto, comodo da usare, esteticamente appagante, e (incredibile!) dai risultati sonici tangibili. Nel mio impianto ho avvertito un lieve miglioramento in termini di nitidezza, apertura e miglioramento della gamma bassa, ma è comunque una questione di dettagli. Alla fine è l'insieme dei piccoli miglioramenti che determina il risultato finale. Se necessitate di un cavo di potenza molto lungo, diciamo dai cinque metri in su, preferite la sezione da 2 x 4 mm quadri, che riduce la resistenza elettrica e di conseguenza anche il degradamento del segnale. In definitiva, prodotto consigliatissimo e grande rapporto qualità/prezzo.
