WORKPRO Cabinet Jacks, 23-5/8" to 45-1/4" Adjustable Support Pole, 4-Pack

I do a lot of my DIY work alone and these poles have been a godsend. Simple to use, straightforward, sturdy. I find myself reaching for them all the time when I have to lift or hold something overhead. I bought them for one project but now use them weekly. Money well spent!

Build wuality was better then I expected, much cheaper and more versatile then zipwall.

I bought these to install shower wall panels. Couldn’t have done it without these! They work as designed. Bag is a nice touch, though a bit cheaply made. The poles, though, are solid. Extend and hold well even fully extended— at least for my purposes. The one annoying downside I experienced is releasing the tension. The release “button” or level is very difficult to press. Almost impossible actually. I found I mostly had success sliding the pole to the right or left a bit so as to naturally increase the angle and release the tension. That won’t work for all applications so that is a weak point of this tool. But it worked for my purposes. Glad I had 4 as well. Worth the money even with the poor release function!

Surprisingly not junk! Well made and easy to operate. A must for installing upper cabinets or anything else where an extra hand is needed.

For what they are, theyre great. Bought with the intention of using to replace cabinets in the near future and they also worked for over the range microwave removal and installation.

the mini jack lever works very well, and so does its release. And there are several strong height selections consisting of spring clips and corresponding holes. But while those holes are mostly some 5" apart, there is a section where the holes are some 18" apart (WHY??). I was working within that section, so I used the red knob, which is flimsy. I tightned that knob, but not very hard not to break it, and the stand could not support 60 lb. I tightned the knob until it bottomed, and the stand could still not support the weight. I used sort of a step stool nearby so I could use the spring clips and the nearest holes, and I had firm support. I didn't find out whether the micro adjuster would increase the height by more than a foot, but even if it does, that 18" inch gap between holes is still an asinine mistake. Also, the inner tube should be on a track so it would not be necessary to move the tube up and down, AND twist it to find holes. I may try to take one stand (of 4) apart and drill two more sets of holes; but do I want to bother doing that when it may be years before I have use for the stands again?

Used these while installing 8ft and 10ft 5/8 thick sheets of drywall on ceilings- made my life and the job incredibly easier. Very sturdy, the micro adjustment tool works well. Highly recommend
