WOW...amazingly easy to use and effective product!
One of my least favorite home maintenance tasks is cleaning the windows. This robot takes care of 95% of the job with, literally, the push of ONE button. The robot is compact enough to handle nearly all the windows in my home. After pairing it to your phone, you simply press the cleaning algorithm you want to use (e.g. "quick clean", "Deep Clean", etc.). The setting is retained in the robot's memory, and you never need to use the phone again unless you want to change the cleaning setting. To start the cleaning process, you press ONE button, the robot adheres to the glass and then does its job. For Deep-Cleaning it takes about 3 minutes for a larger window. One nice feature is that if you have very long and high windows, if you start the robot at the bottom, the robot will conclude the cleaning cycle in exactly the same spot it started eliminating the need for a lot of ladder work. The suction is strong. The robot comes with two cleaning mops, which I was able to rotate once one got dirty (the more frequently you change a soiled mop, the less streaking you will have). I had virtually ZERO streaking and would replace the mop after cleaning about 6 lightly soiled interior windows and 2-3 heavily soiled exterior windows. Simply rinse the mop out and it is ready to reuse. For large windows I'd would have to spend about 10 seconds wiping the corners to make the window finish flawless. Also, if the windows were particularly dirty, I would recommend a quick spray-and-wipe with Windex prior to using the robot in order to get a flawless finish. After a few days the automatic sprayer failed. I contacted Ecovacs and their customer support was amazing and resolved the issue.

Excellent tool at a decent price!
At 71 years of age, I'm not as comfortable as I used to be standing on a 25 foot extension ladder and juggling cleaning supplies. We live in the mountains and so dirt, dust, and pine tree pollen accumulate on our windows in a very short time. After reading some online reviews, we decided to try the Winbot Mini2. Wow! I am impressed! The robot isn't perfect - it doesn't quite reach the window corners and, occasionally, it leaves a very faint smear - BUT it does a better job than the professional and expensive window cleaning crew that we tried one time! This tool is easy to use, I can clean our upper story windows from inside instead if using a ladder, and it is convenient enough to use that our windows will be washed more often. The additional features that the free app enables is a good bonus. We are very pleased with this tool and the price seems very much worth it.

Good at Cleaning; Poor at Communicating with the User.
The Mini 2 did a good job on my very dirty windows, especially the edges. It coped with a couple of irregularly shaped and narrow windows. But my Android app doesn't keep me in touch with the Mini 2. I expected that anything with an app would let you leave the room and beep you when it needs attention. But this app is mostly just a remote control, for several reasons. It disconnects when you're out of the limited 5 meter Bluetooth range (sorry, no wifi like some expensive models have), and sometimes when the phone is off or viewing another app. It doesn't automatically reconnect when you get back in range. And it only gives notifications for serious errors, but not for "Cleaning completed" or "Out of liquid." It does flash messages on the screen, if you happen to be watching. And the bot's voice speaks up, but it's hard to hear over the suction sound, especially if you're on the other side of the window. (On my Android, notifications just don't work; it only displays messages silently in the app. I'm awaiting a resolution from customer support.) The Mini manual says it won't work on irregular shaped windows, but it worked on several of mine, none of which are curved. See my video of an irregular window with one end too narrow for the bot. Note the edge cleaning. The sprayers stopped working after a couple of sliding doors. If this happens, under Settings / Auto Spray in the app there's a handy list of things to try. I had to go through all of them to get it working again. After that one time, they only needed a Q-Tip cleaning when they stopped. But they do stop spraying fairly often, when fluid pools in the socket. And it can't detect that - you won't know unless you're watching. Stay vigilant and keep Q-Tips handy. And when the cleaning fluid tank is empty, it doesn't pause, just keeps on cleaning with a pad that's drying out. I've also seen it complain about an empty tank when it wasn't. Ecovacs advises that the Mini manual works for the Mini 2. I didn't find a Mini 2 manual online (except in Icelandic). If you find the Mini 2 too chatty, turn on Simplified Mode in the Voice Report settings in the app. The toggle flips the mode but confusingly shows off the next time the app is opened, even though the setting stays. The app should notify the user when a firmware update is available. I only found out by poking Upgrade in Settings. And the setting should be called Firmware Update. "Upgrade" sounds like an ad. When the Winbot is on an outside sliding door or window, you may need to move the door or window after sticking the bot on, but before it starts cleaning. The bot doesn't wait for you - it announces and off it goes. So you've got to push the button to pause it - and you've got to time it right. It says "The Winbot is firmly attached," Pushing the button at this point does nothing. Then it says "Starting deep cleaning," and off it goes. So when you hear it begin to say that, push fast. The safety cord and its instructions are mystifying. My ten year old Winbot W730 has a sturdy elastic bungee cord that can be tied to the power cord when needed, which is only when the bot is high above the ground or floor, usually outdoors. That's the right way. Nevertheless, the Mini 2's voice instructions repeatedly demand the cord be used all the time, and the manual illustration shows it tied uselessly to an indoor table leg. The cord is thin and has very little give, so if it does fall whatever it's tied to will get the full force of the drop all at once. And it's permanently attached, so when it's not needed it can catch on things or get in the way. I keep it rolled up and attached to the power cord close to the unit. My Mini 2 got hung up on a couple of windows with a mini-blind mount that kept it from getting completely into one corner. It could just have kept going, but it decided it was stuck and stopped. I've seen it handle a couple of other obstacles, and I documented this one for Ecovacs, so I hope they'll fix it in a later update. So, in summary: A good window cleaner, although not good about communicating with its owner.

Perfect for spring cleaning!
This window cleaning robot makes keeping glass spotless incredibly easy and hands-free. Its compact design allows it to reach tight corners and smaller windows with no problem. The cleaning performance is impressive, leaving windows clear and streak-free. It feels safe and reliable with strong suction and built-in protection features. Setup is simple, and once it’s running, it saves a ton of time and effort. Overall, it’s a smart and convenient solution for maintaining clean windows without the hassle.

WORTHLESS APP
The device works well but the ecovacs app is utterly useless and keeps asking for a review. First 7 windows worked fine, but then there was an issue with window 8. Troubleshooting MUST be done with the app. APP WILL NOT GO PAST THE SURVEY.!!!!

Love this little robot!
Well, the first thing is that I no longer want to get up on an extension ladder to clean windows that are 30 feet off the ground. To have it professionally cleaned would’ve cost me three or four times what I paid for this robot. I was kind of skeptical at first about how it would clean, but I’m pleasantly surprised. The Ecovacs software installation was a little bit challenging, but once I got it installed, it worked great. I tried all the modes of cleaning, but found that the deep clean method worked best for me, quick and easy. If I wasn’t satisfied and I would run it again. I wasn’t sold on the fact that Ecovacs sells a proprietary cleaning fluid so I experimented. Sort of like selling you, printer ink. The first couple times I ran it. I followed the instructions and it turned out ok. After that, I rinsed out the cleaning pads and sprayed window cleaner on the pads with great results. I switched from the proprietary cleaner which goes into the machine to simply distilled water and it worked just fine. The machine worked great when it had edges to follow except for my outside windows, which had sort of an edge around the glass and it got stuck a couple times. No big deal. I just drove it back manually and restarted the process. I had some pretty filthy windows and it did a really good job not professional mind you but very nice. If you’re looking to clean your windows without risk of injury or death, this is the product for you.

If you want a window robot, this is the best value, but it isn't perfect
First the good: this navigates the window very well, mapping it out to identify the best path. Also, it really does a very good job of cleaning, albeit not perfect, which I was skeptical of given that the pads don't move. Having the option to do a quick clean or a deep clean is also great for dirty windows. It feels very stable on the window and its lightweight gives me peace of mind that it will stay put. Although it's a little more than the no name versions, I had one of those and it yeeted itself right off my window after some clumsy navigation. I think this is well worth the money. Now the not so good: the sprayers are very prone to clogging/temporary failure. In the app, it even tells you to just shake it side to side and that should fix it. For the most part it does, but the engineers really need to figure out a better solution. Within the first hour of use I had to take it off the window, shake it, then start the whole window over again because one or both sides stopped spraying. This is not a clogging issue, at least in my case. It seems the little atomizing nozzles are just kind of poorly made. My other complaint is that you have to be rather careful with removing it, especially if you've used it on a dirty window or two. It recenters itself, I believe to where you started it, or maybe to the center of the window, when done cleaning, and if you pull it off with any little bit of slideing instead of straight off the window, the dirty pads will leave a rather large square of smudge right where it ended. Would I buy it again? Yes, I think it's probably the best value out there. But you need to know that it isn't going to work miracles, and they are probably one or two generations from this being the product that would be worthy of 5 stars.

Love this thing!
If you have tall windows and a lot of of them, this is a must have! I used to dread cleaning my windows inside and out because I would have to drag out the ladder every time. Not only that we have a large sliding glass door that our dogs smudge their noses on all the time. This little thing is a miracle worker. I’m able to get it started on one of the large windows go work on other things while it’s working and then switch it and go work on something else. It’s a huge time saver and shoulder saver that I can’t even imagine living without at this point. The one thing I would note is that if your windows do not have distinct edges, it can mess with the suction and have it stop working midway. We only have a couple of windows like this and I don’t think they are very common but the smooth edges cause it to ride up and stop because the suction lessens. Other than that it works flawlessly on all of our windows and I love that I can have sparkling clean windows that I do once a month now instead of once a year if I’m lucky. It works flawlessly inside and out as long as you are keeping the pad moistened as instructed highly recommend!
