Does the job, in confined spaces
I have a minibus, broken front coiled spring and I've been struggling with rusted up items, tapered ball joints and drive shafts stuck in hubs, despite 2 years ago renewal of hub bearings by dealership. Just all rusty and stuck, within 5 minutes of delivery the whole suspension and hub was off and on the ground ready for repair.. Very happy with this kit, you can never have enough pullers and presses..

Good solid tools
Separated the lower ball joints on my 25 year old van with ease, also was able to use them for pressing on awkward rubber bushes still more work to do so well worth the money .

Terrible quality.
The pins are bad quality and weak. Snapped while tightening with a 3/8 ratchet.

They worked but they have bent

I only needed two pieces of this but worked brilliantly.
I got this as I had a seized front wheel bearing hub. It did the job perfectly, I also had to change a ball joint, it handled this perfectly. Well worth the money although I’ll probably never use it again.

Id advise wearing safety goggles as it can be quite violent popping out bearings etc but has worked perfectly every time I’ve used it.

Not suitable for front wheel drive cars, and no instructions
The kit contains fine splitters, but none of them worked on a three front-drive cars I tried as the driveshaft was in the way, which made the kit a bit pointless. As there are no instructions I only worked this out after an hour of trying every one and watching YouTube videos of course! If you are after a way of splitting joints on a front drive car, you are better off going for the forked chisel. I wish I'd have known this before!
