Not any brighter than the regular bulb.
It isn't any brighter than the bulb I had in it before.

Good Value, Brightness is Better
A decent deal for $10. My older Maglight is now brighter, about 30 to 40% brighter. Bulb gives very modern “blueish” LED light color. Don’t expect this conversion kit to make your older mag light as bright as a new Maglight LED model. But for the cost, it’s a decent trade-off. I can still feel safe with my heavy Maglight at night when walking the dog, being able to use it to bash coyotes on their heads if I need to. Fairly easy installation, though not quite plug-n-play.

It bright compared to the old bulb. Good value for the money to keep a old Maglite flashlight working.

Great upgrade for an old Maglite
I’ve had my Maglite for over 20 years and the lens was badly scratched and cloudy. Swapped in this glass lens along with the LED bulb and it made a huge improvement. The beam is noticeably brighter and cleaner now. Fit was perfect and everything installed easily. For the price, this upgrade is totally worth it.
