I saw several reviews complaining this trash can was smaller than advertised so that did worry me a bit but it is 13 gallon like it says. I use 13 gallon trash bags and they fit just perfect. When the can is full and you pull the bag out it is about as full as it can get. So the size is not an issue. It was in perfect condition. No dents, scratches etc. I also saw a couple reviews where people said the ring that holds the bag in was too tight. I did not have that issue either. It slides right on. All in all so far this is a great trash can. I love the motion sensor lid and it works great. I cannot speak to durability this soon but will update this review after I’ve had it for a while.

This is my second one. The first lasted 10 years and worked fine but the plastic rim that holds the lid cracked and was always slipping. I love this trash can. The only issue I have with this new one is it shuts louder than the last. I wish I could adjust the tension for closing. Still a good product.

the can itself is fine, but the closures that store the batteries are flimsy, one came broken and the batteries fall out every single time the lid is taken off imo the sensor works a little too well, and opens very rey frequently when not using the trash can the odor control works great

I love this. The stainless steel trash can looks so nice, modern, and clean. I really like the hands‑free feature it offers, and it fits all regular‑sized trash bags with no problem. It’s very easy to use, and overall I’m really happy with it.

Sturdy, looks nice and good value for money. Love the auto open/close lid. Traps odors in well. My dogs can’t get in it and it’s very easy to set up and great that it’s hands free.

this is a terrific trash can, with a nice size, slim design, and it's metal, so it isn't a cheap condition, but with a bad flaw... the battery compartments (there are two, each with two batteries) have flimsy covers on them, with the covers facing down, into the trash can. You can see what's going to happen, and did for me...the weight of the batteries on the flimsy battery compartment cover eventually, after the lid opens and closes many times, causes the battery compartment lids to come loose and fall INTO the garbage below. Unfortunately, if you don't realize this, you end up throwing the battery compartment lids away with the trash before realizing the problem, and then it's toolate.
