Nice sturdy tranparent converter
Initially, ink sucked by converter was very less. Then, learnt how to use through you tube vedios. Now , the converter is working very well.

Very good!
The reviewers that say this converter cannot be fully filled are wrong. You should patiently full it up and remove the air while the pen is upside down then fill it up and you should have a full fill. Good ink flow, feels a bit cheap for the price I paid. I like the design.

For pilot metropolitan
Great quality. Fully compatible with Pilot metropolitan. But expensive.

Just Okay
Okay converter, holds a smaller amount of ink than a cartridge and difficult to get a full fill. Aesthetically pleasing, but functionally undesirable. Overall, not a good value for money.

Perfect fit, not just for my Metropolitan.. but also for my vintage Birdie!
This converter has been a great purchase for it perfectly fit, not just my Pilot Metropolitan, but also my vintage Birdie.. the latter was more significant for I had been looking for a converter for it for the longest time (wow.. way too many fors!). As for the ink capacity, I have no complaints.. it has lasted me a good 3 weeks now which is par for the course for any fountain. As for the filling system, since I use a syringe (with pretty much any converter) this went up to the brim too 😅.. before I evacuated the excess air - been doing this sort of surgery for years and it works without a hitch! Only rarely do I need to charge the ✒️. Fixing this also resulted in a full fledged cleaning of all my writing apparatus 😄 Happy overall 😁

There's a trick to filling it all the way
Bought this for my metropolitan animal design because the included squeeze converter is opaque. There's a trick to filling it all the way. Just search for it on YouTube and you'll find it. Boils down to these 5 steps: 1. Fill about half way. 2. Flip to have the nib point up. 3. Twist to fill the rest with air, and shake a little bit to have the ink settle away from the nib if it hasn't already. 4. Twist to push the air out until you see a drop of ink ready to come out of the hole in the feed on the side opposite to the nib. 5. Flip to point the nib down and fill all the way.

Fantastic for ease of refilling but not a huge ink capacity.

Works very well. The well only fills half way up by design. I think buyers should know this. It is not a problem, but you won’t have as much ink in the pen as with a cartridge, but I don’t mind refilling it. It only takes a minute.
