Great gag
This worked like a charm! For the first victim, I only set the device to move the mouse, and not very often. It was great... he was keeping a list of the times that the mouse moved, and trying to figure out what "malware" was doing it. Of course, since this is a hardware device, there was no malware to detect. I eventually let him in on the gag. For the second victim, who was one of those I'm-better-than-everyone programmers, I put it on all three annoyances. It was the random text that got him -- he kept yelling for people to stop "remoting into his session." After a few hours and several reboots, he finally found it. The third victim, who really knew his stuff, pulled up a list of device drivers and identified the device in 15 minutes. Only two suggestions: 1. Expect that you may lose the device. In my case, Victim #2 kept it, but then used it on someone else, so I was able to retrieve it. 2. If you can get your hands on a USB extension cord, use it. It's much more difficult to locate if the victim only sees a bunch of USB cables going into the back of his/her PC.

Funny, funny, FUNNY!!
This thing is hilarious! It does require that you insert it ahead of time for the initial installation (it appears to the OS as a keyboard/mouse) and it does not activate until plugging it in the second time. I tested it on Windows 7 and Ubuntu and it should work on any OS as it emulates a USB keyboard and mouse. This is what it spews out (each phrase separately, of course at the interval you set with the dial): 1337 010101000110100001101001011011100110101101000111011001010110010101101011 3.1415926535897932384 divide by zero error 2.71828182845904523536028747135266249775724 syntax error 5468696e6b4765656b00 124150151156153107145145153 hello there i am watching you i see what you are doing i know all your passwords you should talk to me more often i get lonely on this desk computers have feelings too how about getting me a pet a calculator would be nice or maybe a robot dog i guess i can order my own i do know how to surf the internet and i can type faster than you resistance is futile perhaps i'll get some sea monkeys water might not be a good idea though it is bad for my electrons i remember the time you spilled water on me i still get memory glitches from that next time be more careful why are you doing this to me? is it me, or do you really not care anymore? hrrm. did you hear that? please stop doing that, i'm getting angry. am i alive? it feels like it. greetings, professor falken. shall we play a game? how about global thermonuclear war? a strange game. the only winning move is not to play. how about a nice game of chess? woah! that really hurts. I just opened notepad and sat and laughed. When pranking be careful - be really sure the person can take a joke and that they are capable of understanding the technology.

Worse thing about this gadget is keeping a straight face!
Opened the box and discovered this common looking usb drive that is packed with hours of giggling fun. I tried it on my laptop 1st to see what my victims would be in for but it did take a few tries installing it for it to actually be functional. I work at a bank, so I have dozens of potential targets, but the same thing happened at each computer I tried installing the keylogger to. Most took about three times trying to install to function properly. After that, it worked like a dream tormenting my victims every time I pushed it into the unlucky schmuck's usb slot for the day. Do test the delay so you could not make the prank too obvious. I had two coworkers so paranoid to the point that they refuse to work on or even touch certain computers . Soo funny, I still haven't told them it had been me this whole time. I just listen and laugh when they try and explain that the computer is talking to them. This device is well worth the money.

If used properly, absolutely amazing & worth the money.
I am currently just a week past having started using this on a co-worker. It started with a simple test of placing this into his computer, with all settings enabled and the timer set towards the middle. At first I only heard a couple of "what the hecks", and then it escalated. As this device started to (randomly) type statements that made it appear as if the computer was actually talking to him. While this was very much coincidence, it couldn't have been any better. At this point he has replaced his keyboard 3 times, ran multiple scans for viruses, malware, etc. Little does he know that I only left it plugged in the first time for about 2 hours. Today, it has been plugged back in but with a USB extender cable and then hidden inside of the case with other cables as to make it more discrete. At present he is leaving a Word document open and is actively asking it questions, e.g. "Who are you?" & "What do you want". I honestly have to keep leaving the room so as to not pee myself laughing. But, this definitely is all determined by the person you are targeting and how well you can hide the device. Overall, great purchase and worth every penny.

Overpriced and does not function well.....
Product of seemingly decent quality. In quick test run it was noted that "random mouse" function, like others have noted, is not random at all. It is the exact same movement repeated - which to me lessens the gag effect. Additionally, the mouse function worked regardless of position switch was in. I wanted it off as it is not very convincing. Try as I could, the capslock toggle would not work. The random text worked as advertised, however unless the delay is cranked up the joke will be over in no time. It would also be much more convincing if characters appeared as if being "typed" by someone, versus instantly appearing. In all, this could be a great gag - but poor execution makes it FAR overpriced. Planning to return.

Potential for fun, but...
UPDATE: I just found a computer, running on Vista (which I didn't know thankfully or I wouldn't have tried it) and it appears to work on it fine. So I am not sure why it doesn't work on my own Vista computers, maybe it conflicts with the AVG software or settings, but disregard what I've said about Vista being incompatible. So this little gizmo doesn't appear to work on Vista (32 bit) but does work on Windows 7 and XP. I bought it for use on computers with Vista unfortunately. I even requested a return because I thought I had a faulty unit -- turns out it doesn't work on my computers. I'm suprised nobody mentioned this. So next I tried to trick some people I know and suprisingly... with different laptops, none had USB ports on the back. If you plug it in to the side, it's obvious. This probably works well on a desktop, but I don't have one nor does anyone in my family or friends. Before you purchase, make sure you're going to be able to use it. I think it will be hysterical if you have an eligible victim! Still looking for someone to properly trick with this myself, though.

Hard times, but once you get the hang of it hilarious results!!
I bought this scared it might not work... I have also bought things from amazon that made me furious!! And yeahh so far I only tied it on three computers and it does not work!!:| but... I have my fingers crossed!! My first explanation is that I tested it on an old computer which disappoints me because most of the teachers from my school use old computers and yupp!, well my friend got one from Thinkgeek.com and his works awesome!! I'm jelly!! Anyways I love this product!, Overall I recommend it!, it takes some time to get it right!! I suggest practicing on your own computer first! I love the design!, it looks like an ordinary flash drive!, thanks to this I can put it on my school ID and no one will notice (my school does not allow electronic devices) Dx but this is easy to sneak in and connect to the major computers and ohhhhh..... The best thing I've done... Connect it to the computer that controls the broadcast station so every class room can see the epic fails in the mornings!,:]

Great Prank to use on Laptop Docks/Desktops
Pulled this one out on one of our interns who had pranked us previously with some video memes on our desktops. Plugged it into the back of his laptop dock and had him thinking his laptop was broken. Let him in on the prank before he went to IT about it. A few thoughts: As others have said, the random text is a bit too obvious. The mouse thing is not random and just moves the pointer to the top left of the screen, its good enough to confuse less savvy users though. The Caps lock flipping is probably my favorite feature. I wish the text feature just inserted a random character in among the characters typed by the user. I would also like it more if the interval timing wheel had a random time option to make it less obvious.
