Skeptical at first...
Like others, i was weary of buying the workshop since its rarely available in the US and there is very little info on it. Really happy i decided to pull the trigger (there were only 2 left at the time) and got the workshop in about 48 hours. Right out of the box, it did not disappoint! Easy to use, charges quickly, and overall good quality tools. The only thing that I didn't like too much, were some of the drill bits, but i can just buy better ones down the road. One of the most useful tools in the house already. Was able to use the level and the power drill within 5 minutes of opening and put up the curtain rods in the house. Would recommend!

My husband loves his Power8 Workshop. Ladies, this is a great Father's Day gift that will give him the reason to finish all those projects you want him to do around the house!!

Met my expectations
The cordless power tools are great. I needed a new group to replace an aging (10+ years) Ryobi set. The additional functionality of the work bench conversions is great. Make no mistake, this will not take the place of larger stand alone tools in a workshop, but for small projects they can get the job done.

Great product.
I've been waiting for this product since I saw it about six months ago in a video. It is just what a weekend DIY guy needs for not too big light projects.

Nice idea. Poorly executed
I like this because it is going to help me downsize my shop to fit my life. That being said, downsizing comes with trade-offs. The first one is that the 5.5" blade on the saw means that you're going to have a small selection of blades, especially those for making really fine cuts. The blades typically available in these sizes are designed for small lightweight saws used by roofers for rough work and cuttting plywood. The second issue is the drill. The body is so hefty (which is a good thing) that it is almost impossible to set this down on the handle without it tipping over. My last drill was weighted such that the battery was heavier and so it did not topple. Again, not a big deal, but it means being more conscious of how I am setting down the drill. So far the drill seems really nice. Haven't used the other tools much yet. ETA: I've had this for about a year now. My comments above still stand, however, here are some other things I've discovered over time. 1) The guard and splitter on the table saw are useless. The splitter is out of alignment with the saw blade and so jams. I had to remove it from the assembly that locks the saw in place to the table since it won't operate without that in there. 2) The battery burned out on me while drilling a bunch of holes. It was replaced under warranty 3) Sometimes the tool just stops working and I have to remove the battery and reinsert it into the tool to make it work again. 4) Finding blades for the saw is not easy. 5) Finding blades for the saber saw is harder 6) The circular saw has the motor on the opposite side of my old craftsman saw and that just makes it hard for me to use as the piece I am cutting off always is under the heavier part of the tool. 7) The drill assembly has a sloppy feel internally. Something is not right with the gears. 8) Underpowered as a table saw. Wishing I hadn't sold my other tools.

Cool idea that turned into a paperweight.
It was a cool idea, until the charger quit working. Now it's a paperweight waiting to get fixed if I'm ever able to figure out how to fix it!
