Can it be mounted on the ceiling (upside down)?

Yes, many customer mounted this projector to ceiling.

I would like to purchase this projector but before I do I want to know if it works well outside in the daylight on a screen?

No, you have to wait until "last light" time (about 30 minutes after the sunset time) and turn off outside lights. Even the popcorn maker light effected the screen. Using 230" screen with projector on 6' ladder. LA city light pollution as well.

Does this projector have an audio out port do i can hook up external speakers?

This projector has a 3.5mm audio port. You can connect it to external speakers.
