This is a great little drum at a fantastic price! It's very colorful, and has great sound. My 1-year-old grandson loves it. I have other products by hape and love the quality and ease of use. They're very kid friendly.

I bought this after seeing my friend's kid with it during playdate. First, the drum has 2 tones and an ongoing beat when it turns on its side. There is no annoying music or nonstop looping. Also, there is enough sound differentiation that it entertained my baby without being overstimulating (no strobe effects). My husband and I are both musicians and love how the toy is educational without encouraging noise pollution. This is a good toy for children around 1yo but my 2.5yo still plays with it.

Big hit n favorite toy

I have an 8 month old boy who drums on everything he can. His favorite Bright Starts drum broke and we couldn't find it again, so we tried this drum out. Honestly, he LOVES it! But what little drummer boy wouldn't? It's easy to drum, and the noise isn't so loud while it is upright that it overpowers the drumming of his hands. The music is also catchy, and my son dances and squeals and drums even more. It's been a hit! Buh-dum-chhhh Now, does Mommy love it? I want to. I really do. But I am not a fan of how loud the drum is when it is on its side. I understand the reason -- to help encourage him to crawl. But, friends, once your baby learns that it gets louder when it is on its side, it will ALWAYS be on its side, thus ALWAYS making music. Does this bother me? A little. But if they had put a volume control of some kind (even just slightly quieter), I probably wouldn't mind it as much. My son loves drumming it whether it's on its side or not, and he loves dancing to the music it plays. Also, the drum's sensor for knowing when it is on its side is pretty incredible. We have had this drum for over a month now, and not once has the sensor been wrong about what position it's in (and he plays with it every day, multiple times a day). It is a really fun toy for him, so if you have a little drummer boy/girl like I do, it's a wonderful purchase for them! Just be prepared that it is pretty loud on its side. Thankfully, there is an "off" switch for when he's napping 😉

This drum is a must have! Bought my first one eight years ago for my first born grandson. It was his favorite toy and he learned how to crawl with it. Bought a second one as I now have eight grandsons and they all loved it! The sounds, the colors, the flashing lights and the shape. You will not be disappointed and neither will the babies!

Fun music, easy for baby to use

I can’t believe how much my 6 mo old loved this and still does at 9 mo

My 5 month old seemed to really enjoy music and was starting to smack the table he would be sitting at so decided to get him a drum to smack. Now, a little over 6 months, it easily has become his favorite toy. Whenever he is sitting on the floor, I put this in front of him and he happily bangs away. There isn’t any volume control and when the drum is on its side, it plays music, which is great for the baby. Awful for the parents as eventually the music will drive you mad! But what children’s toy that makes music, especially a drum, isn’t that an issue?

Esta bonito el tambor pero en lo personal siento q suena muy bajito... Y más porqe la Bocina la tiene en la parte de abajo y si pones en vertical por ende tapas la bocina y casi no se escucha, debieron haberla puesta x un lado. Fuera d eso esta genial

What can I say about a 1 year old, apart from he loves to slap things, instead of us having slapping contests on tables and floors, he now loves to slap out a beat on this great toy. A future drummer is on his way to stardom. :-D

Die Trommel ist super , man hört überwiegend die Holzplatze wenn die kleine zu doll drauf hauen aber es macht unseren Kindern viel Freude . Es gibt zwei Lautstärken es ist ein dezentes Licht und beim rollen freuen sich die Mäuse immer sehr. Absolute Empfehlung.
