Worth reading no matter how long you’ve served
I’ve been serving in one capacity or another for many decades now. Started as a teen and now “full time”, so for the last 36 years or so. This is definitely a book worth reading! The book is very down to earth. It’s full of nuggets of wisdom! Would recommend for all who serve, whether as a pastor, lay person, or as an overseas worker.

Truth for ministry
I have read Wiersbe for many years and this book is great for all who seek to minister for God's kingdom. Great wisdom for all who seek to minister for the Christ to consider.

Every Christian Should Read This!!!
Are you overwhelmed by the ministry God's called you to? Do you feel unappreciated and incapable of handling all the demands? Whether you're a volunteer or a full-timer, ministry burnout is a real thing. In this book, Wiersbe takes his vast love of God's Word and distills it into bite-size "conversations" (chapters). I'm enriched every time I read any of these chapters and yes I've read them many times!

The book itself is great. Short chapters which allow for an additional daily devotional source with substantive thoughts to ponder. Very well referenced with scriptures, anecdotal references and footnotes. Overall good however it had a lot more markations than I expected. There are many highlights in the book. Delivery turn around was satisfactory.

A must read for every Christian worker
Dr. Wiersbe has given his life to help the spiritual growth of all Christians. On Being A Servant is a wonderful source for examples and instructions on Biblical ministry. It will encourage you and help you as you serve in your local ministry. It is filled with scripture and is very easy to follow.
