Soft crayon that marks well on rough bark. Do not press to hard or the crayon will break.

Not good to use it over concret. Sharpie Marker is better or even milwaukee version is more solid. This Marker is too soft and wont last you for more than 2 or 3 jobs like layouts or any other job you need to do lot of marks. 1 star cause other markers will last you for 4 to 6 jobs compared to this maker that will get you 1 to 2 jobs done.

I was expecting this because of similar review, sticks fell out of the box inside the shipper, three tips cracked off, and only eleven of 12 arrived, seems like this is to be expected The paint is real soft I recommend use on smooth cleaner surfaces
