Using in place of the Soyplex Demi (Semi) permanent hair color from Clairol which was discontinued. Color from one line to the other is perfect. Same natural look achieved for my mostly gray strands.

Better than drugstore products
This stuff has a rich color that doesnt fade quickly. I like it better than drug store products. Ive been a loyal for a years now. You will have to purchase developer, gloves, and stuff to mix and apply

Not great with vol 10 developers
I used vol 10 developer & it only deposited color which shampooed out leaving only my highlights stained. I might have used it wrong so just reviewing so someone doesn’t make my mistake.

Didn’t cover gray, weird gummy texture
This product seemed fine while applying but after leaving it on for 45 minutes for gray coverage per the instructions I had a difficult time washing it out of my hair. It left a thick residue in my hair that was difficult to wash out. Finally got it out after washing it 4 times. It did the same thing to my application brush. I had to use degreaser to get the product out of my brush! Never had this happen with any other salon brand of dye. Won’t be repurchasing. It also didn’t cover any of my grays, despite the long process time.

Best alternative for my Longtime Now unavailable Brand..
When I lost my old favorite permanent hair dye.. I nearly dyed- haha. But then.. I found this! It’s great.
