Don't believe the claims!
This product does not live up to its claims. Everything stated about its quality and sturdiness are all true but its ability to function as a gamepad for mobile gaming are not. The list of 'supported games' on the Razer website is more than a little misleading, look closer and it is only games with an asterix which are fully supported. This adds up to about half a dozen games of the 100 or so listed. I understand it is the developers who need to get on board and make changes to their games to allow full functionality but at over £120 I could not justify keeping this when it was useless for the games I play. If you use a lot of emulators then I believe you will find this a more attractive proposition but for purely mobile gamers I would say save your money.

For gaming on a mobile
I got this for my nephew who is surgically attached to his gaming pc with the occasional foray into mobile games on his phone. He reported back to me that 'it was alright' in teenage speak this for translation is 'this was great'. It was fairly easy to set up as it comes with an adjustable slot for your phone to sit in, and can be either connected with Bluetooth or your existing mobile charger cable. I believe from my teenage source that you can also use it to game with consoles like the x-box. The multi-function keys can be remapped to suit the game you play and it has a hair-trigger response button for fast gaming action. The buttons are a little on the small side for my nephew's hands but the joystick was fine. As far as I can tell for the type of FPS my nephew plays this has worked fine - although it does run off the phone's battery so he does have to come up for air occasionally.

A premium controller that is a joy to use, but lack of game support is disappointing
The Razor Mobile Game Controller is a premium controller but with a premium price tag to match. It oozes quality - you get that feeling straight away as soon as you pick it up - it feels light and comfortable with tactile buttons/joy pads. Pairing with your Android device is very straightforward - install the Raiju app and then use the option to add a controller, pressing the home and start button to enter pairing mode. Quick and easy. The number of buttons you get on this controller is huge, more than enough for the most complex of games but, and it’s a big but, so long as your game supports the controller. More on that later. You can use the app to customise the buttons and gamepad sensitivities, saving as a profile and downloading these into the controller. However the degree of button customisation is limited to just the M1, M2, M3, M4, Select and Start buttons. Perhaps that’s normal in customisable controllers, but I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t more extensive, especially given the price. Also the customisation is limited to mapping the customisable buttons to existing buttons on the controller - so for example, mapping M1 to the X button. I was expecting that you might be able to map to keyboard presses, just as if you’d got a bluetooth keyboard attached to your phone, but that’s not the case and given the rather limited game support may have been a useful option for Raiju to include. In use the controller is a joy to use and really does take gaming on your phone to another level compared with using touch screen controls - apart from anything else your fingers don’t get in the way of the action! However the big drawback is the lack of support from Android games for controllers such as this. I was disappointed that neither FIFA mobile or F1 2006 supported the controller and there seems to be no option in either game to make it work. This is not the only example of course. The Razer website includes a page which lists compatible games, so it’s best to check there. That I think is the big drawback with this product - Android games are not the same as games developed for PC and Consoles, where controller support is almost a given. Android games are designed to be used with touch screen displays, so it’s not surprising really that many games do not natively support controllers such as the Rajor. This is not something that Raiju can do anything about really - either the game supports external controllers or it doesn’t. To summarise, this is a high quality controller that is a joy to use when you can find a game that supports it. However given the limited support for these controllers in Android games you have to question whether it is worth paying the premium price for the Razor. Only you can answer that - check out the Razor website and see if your favourite games are supported.

Fast non sluggish interface
Not iPhone or Ipads compatible for Android only, PC and Mac. Powered by AA batteries for wireless control or you can use the USB connection which overrides the Bluetooth when connected. Comes with a phone mount for mounting your phone on the top securely. Interface is really fast on my Sony Xperia phone so no sluggish issues here.

Great Product
I found this to be a very comfortable well made controller. It was easy to setup and use. The holder for the phone is big enough and is sturdy. All the buttons feel good to touch, I found it similar to an XBOX One controller. Overall, I think this is a great product for all mobile gamers.

Good quality, very responsive.
My oldest grandson is really pleased with this controller. He is the master gamer of the family and the road-tester of the controller. He really liked how easy it was to programme the way he wanted it and that it works seamlessly with his mobile phone when he is out, and with his laptop when he is at home. He has had no problems with it and finds it very responsive in all the games he plays. His only disappointment was that it does not cover all the Android games he plays. But for those it does (most of them) it is, he says, the best controller he has used.

Overpriced & limited game support!
I like the idea of using a controller with my phone for mobile gaming and was expecting something pretty special considering the premium price of this. I mostly play sports and driving games with Fifa being the game I've played most since I was a kid. The mobile controls for the Fifa Android version are horrible so I was looking forward to using this controller with it... but wait... this controller doesn't support it! Not a good start. I stupidly thought this would work with every game on Android but it doesn't. The supported game list can be found sitting discretely at the bottom of the product tech support page on Razer's website, and the number of games supported is disappointingly small relative to the number of games available for Android. The next game I tried was GTA, my next favoured game and that thankfully worked. There are a few popular games that are supported which is a bit of a saving grace but I'm still annoyed there's not a single real football game supported. Another game I enjoy but is not supported is PUBG which is surprising. The actual quality of the controller is good as you'd expect from Razer and very comfortable to hold. The shape and layout of this controller is very similar to an XBOX controller except there's few extra buttons - 3 sets of shoulder buttons (1 set with travel adjustment) and one set of rear buttons. The front of the controller is similar to an XBOX controller. The built-in holder supports phone widths of up to 79 mm / 3.11 in. My Oneplus 6 fits ok but has to be set slightly to the left to avoid pressing the volume buttons. The razer phone is obviously designed to fit perfectly with the volume buttons sitting in the middle opening. Overall, this controller is nice to have but I'd consider it a luxury that really isn't necessary for the majority of the games that have already been well adapted to touchscreens. Razer also needs to review their pricing as this is stupidly overpriced considering its limited game support. For this reason, it's very difficult to recommend.

A great game Controller.
Easy to install and connect to your mobile cell phone, via Bluetooth. Very comfortable feeling holding the device while playing your games. The console controls are easy to use and feels smooth to the touch. The price is a little bit expensive, but worth it. For all those game bangers out there, make sure you have lots of memory on your cellphone and you will not have any problems playing games or having fun with your new device.

Recensione controller razer raiju mobile
-Giuseppe.
