GREAT book for Teen boys
This book was purchased for my 12 (almost 13) year old (7th grade) son. I read through the book first and found that it would be a great book for him to help with his awareness of his choices. He is already a great kid but that peer pressure is real and the struggle is real as well. 7th grade is a HARD age for peer pressure and the fact that kids are bullied if they don't follow the masses.Author Jim George has a special talent for breaking down into small bites ways to live a better Christian life. In this particular book he gives some very easy to follow advice for boys in the early stages of being a teenager. This book would be a PERFECT book for dad/mom and son to do together or as a small group in a Sunday school class. This book would be a great addition to your sons library or as a gift to a young man. I recommend this book to anyone with an up and coming tween or teen son.

Excellent
I went through this book with my son when he was 10. We did it together and he really enjoyed it. And he really got something(s) out of it. And one thing that I think is really impressive, and the way I know he was paying attention, is we had a bit of a family emergency and took about a two-month break from the book, and when we came back to it, he remembered right where we were, remembered all the characters, I did not have to review the stories, none of that. He was ready to go, remembered everything. Now that's something! It teaches great life lessons in a way a boy can understand and comprehend. Also, I bought a few of these that I am going to use with a couple boys in our Wednesday night church program.

Got this for my 10yr son...He can't seem to put this book down. He reads it all into the night. It has great sound advice and is pretty much age appropriate.

I bought this book for my 11 year old son when he was having trouble at school I love how he reads a section and then has to write about it. We discuss it together and it’s been a special time together

Wonderful Devotional
My son and I really enjoyed this devotional. He is 9 and in 3rd grade. The material was easy for him to understand and it kept him engaged. I do think the devotional was a tad long so we did it 2 times a week.

... nephew but I read the first pages and I loved it because it is exactly what I noticed it ...
I gave this book to my nephew but I read the first pages and I loved it because it is exactly what I noticed it is going on with my nephew at this period of his life. I encouraged him to read it and he promised me he was going to read it. For what Iread the first pages I think young kids can learn a lot so they become more conscious of their acts and this book can help them think more mature and avoid bad consequences from making bad choices in their lifes.

... encourage a young boy to see that it is EASY to make mistakes when they make poor choices
Outstanding opportunity to use everyday situations to encourage a young boy to see that it is EASY to make mistakes when they make poor choices. This book empowers a young mind to be acutely aware of the importance of being honest and thinking through decisions and what might happen if they fail to follow God's simple principles.
