HP Original HS04 4-Cell Notebook Battery (N2L85AA) for HP 250G4/Pavilion 14/15-ac/af/ad/aj0xx

My laptop's original battery died suddenly during lockdown and the HP store was out of stock too. Thankfully, Amazon delivered this pretty quickly. I didn't really think of carrying out all the checks to test if it was a genuine HP product as I was in a hurry, however, thinking back it didn't come in the original HP box but a brown cardboard one with product details etc. pasted on top. That detail aside, it works extremely well with my laptop (no heating issues etc) and gives over 5 hours of back-up. Very happy with my purchase!

I have ordered this battery and it was working good for 3 months, after 3 months it's battery backup has reduced and I claimed for the warranty. As I contacted Amazon personal I got a contact number of the seller and contacted them (on message), and they asked me to send the product to their address. I sent the battery for the warranty, but it has been a month no response from the seller, even for the phone calls and messages.

so my laptop's battery was not charging and i ordered this. first of all thank u amazon for amazingly fast dilvery... coming to battery it drains within 2 hours of full charge but my original battery with came with laptop used to give me 3 hrs of life with full charge so this is also pretty good... it comes in original packing and even with warantee so thats good... i am writing this review after 3 days of using it so far so good i am happy with the product .. thanx amazon

The battery health declined to 50% in just 3 to 4 months of usage. Don't buy from SP Infotech®

Buy if you MUST!Manufacturing sticker says August 2020 manufacturing!NO original box as shown in the advt, brown box with Chinese manufacturer's sticker on it.This is a made in China battery from some vendor HP has asked to manufacture.This battery has 200mAh less than the original battery.Very light weight compared to original one.My laptop is a fanless CPU laptop still this battery drains super fast!I guess in very low usage of battery (only MS Office use, no wifi on) it gives 2 hrs of backup.You need charger to stay charged.Unfortunately HP store also sells the same battery for 3750/- or 4000/- so you have to buy it from amazon which cost me 3500/-. I avoided going to HP store fearing COVID infection. There is no other option available.Shouldnt cost more than 1,000/- for such a cheap quality less power battery!Again, buy only if your original battery no longer recharges!So sad HP deceiving customers like this!I would have instead bought an UPS and kept laptop going on than spending 3500/-
