Official Certified Solidworks Professional Cswp Certification Guide: Solidworks 2010 - Solidworks 2011

This book helped me by knowing what will be tested and what to expect. I looked at the book and confirmed that I already knew the things that will be tested in the cswp exam - boosting my confidence to take it. Though the models are not the same, the material being tested is.

After passes the CSWA a few years ago I been wanting to try the CSWP but if truth be told I was scared! I've found from going through Segments 1 & 2 of the book that my fear was for the most part unfounded. I found that I actually knew more than I thought. This confidence building alone is worth the price of the book. I found that the videos are exceptional and easy to follow. I would watch one and then flipped over to SolidWorks and do the examples. Marie points out some things that I could do faster and better which is good for test taking as time is critical. If you've been holding back on taking the CSWP then you need to buy this book! I'll comment with my exam results as soon as I take the test.

When I first got the book, I thought there was another book beneath it, because it is so thin, about 100 pages. Later I found out that's it. It went through the part in the sample exam, again, that's it. No exercises, no more examples, no nothing. I don't think it worth $30 or whatever it is. Frankly speaking I am disappointed. The book on CSWA is very good, lots of examples and exercises, not this one.

Failed my first exam and had to look at how to speed things up. The Solidworks exam is after all - only about speed. I'm usually fairly methodical and careful in how I do my work - as the senior designer in my company care is more important than speed. Bought the book - set up a second screen as recommended - study the methodology and passed the 3 stages fairly easily. The dvd was a little bit of an idiots guide but the main points were covered. Thank you - I now give the other engineers curry

Buyer beware. This book sucks and is not worth the cost. It gives you a glimse of what is expected, but doesn't prepare you like the CSWA guide.

Doesn't really help conceptually, but more of a step-by-step how to for the CSWP. Not what I wanted, but okay

Ive only gone through the first segment so far with this guide and its helped. It shared insight to the use of equations and shared values which I had yet to encounter, the multimedia cd is very clear and concise. hopefully Ill be ready to take the CSWP in the summer with ease..

Sinceramente, esperaba mucho más de este libro. Me ha parecido muy caro para el poco contenido, en blanco y negro y de tapa blanda.
