International Concepts Unfinished Corner Accent Table

I had an empty corner in the new half bath that we added to our house. This little table fits perfectly in that corner and will hold decorative items to dress up the room. The table is well built and it was made with nice solid wood. It was easy to put together and easy to paint. It's a cute little table.

I had been looking for a tiny corner table for a long time when I found this one. I was attracted to the fact that not only was it was the style I was looking for, it is made of real hardwood and I can finish it the way I want. I was not disappointed. The only flaw was that the drill holes for one of the corners were not aligned properly. We were able to work around that and get the table put together properly. Once assembled, it is very sturdy. With so much cheap furniture out there at exorbitant prices, having a real wood table for a reasonable price made me very happy. I think the knob for the little drawer was a bit big, but other than that the style was perfect. Made in Vietnam.

Trying to find any solid wood furniture at a reasonable price is impossible but this beautiful table had a stunningly low price of just $36.00. The box was very heavy which made me grateful for the free delivery and the painstakingly way it was safely packed protecting all the pieces was exceptional. Assembly took very little time, good instructions and every piece fit together like a glove. The workmanship was perfect to the last detail and it's solid wood with a gorgeous grain and a solid quality table. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be but the dimensions were exactly a stated. Something like this always seems smaller than the dimensions so you might want to draw the triangle with the correct dimensions on a large sheet of paper to make sure the size is right for you.Based on this wonderful experience with "International Concepts", I will definitely seek out their other furniture pieces to purchase.

Make sure you are clear on the size of this table. It is small. The top of the table is only 24 inches off the floor. The triangle top is 20 inches wide but it cuts back quickly to the top gets small very fast. a regular size laptop (15" screen) will sit on it but the back two corners will NOT be sitting on anything. I am using it for a laptop and it does seem sturdy enough to work.The wood is nice and the table is sturdy. One recommendation I have is when fastening the bottom shelf be very very sure that the shelf and the legs are lined up the best you can get them, before you sink the screw(s) in. If you don't line these up properly you will see gaps between the legs and the shelf, where it connect and it takes away from the look of the table.I really like the table and think it is a good buy. I personally wish is was about 2 inches bigger all the way around and 2 inches taller but it will work for my purposes.As long as you are clear on the size and it will work for you, I would recommend this small corner table.To the sellers... if you made a slightly bigger one, I would buy it on the spot.

This is a perfect piece to fill a corner behind my desk. No other corner tables are this size.It's solid wood, and the surface is very smooth out of the box. It's good quality wood. Denser and finer grained than I thought it would be.I have never "stained" wood before and I gave up trying to decide on a color. I just sprayed it with clear rustoleum, and was happy to see that bring out a little more of the grain pattern.The upper part is already assembled. All you need to do is bolt on the 3 legs using a well-made included hex key (long end is ball-like to work at an angle), and use a wood screw on each of the corners of the lower shelf (philips screwdriver not included).One exception, the knob is not yet attached to the drawer. I was tempted to use an extra knob I had which would match another piece of furniture in the room, but I must have packed it away.The only thing I might have wanted to be different is the front legs. All 3 legs are identical, which makes for easier manufacturing and eliminates confusion during assembly. However, that does mean the front legs are rotated slightly (ie, no side of the square leg is facing the same direction as the front edge of the table, which you can see in the picture). That's fine, I can accept one trade-off.I wish I had a place to put a second one.

So glad I made this purchase. I was looking for a corner table that would fit our small water closet (toilet room within a bathroom) and this was the perfect size. Anything bigger would not have worked... It's perfect for placing some magazines, books or whatever on the bottom, and a cup of coffee on the top while you do your business.The craftsmanship of the table is excellent. I had decided I wanted to try to stain and finish the table, but I was concerned being that it was parawood (which is known for not taking stain well), that it would look blotchy.In order to get the best results I lightly sanded it down completely using 320 grit sandpaper and then used Minwax Pre-Stain treatment to hopefully mitigate problems with the stain taking. If I had it to do over I might try pre-treating it with just plain water, and maybe doing that a couple times. I have read in some blogs that wiping down the wood with water twice and allowing it to dry for just a little bit of time, actually works better than the Pre-stain treatment you can buy. You are basically wanting the grain to open up to accept the stain evenly.After prepping the piece, I stained it with Minwax Special Walnut stain. I went over it about twice. There were a couple spots that were a bit blotchy (actually I think that was my fault because it looked like the area where I had been handling it, and possibly the oil from my fingers blocked the stain from taking correctly). Consequently, I did go over those spots with sandpaper again and redid the problem areas.Lastly I used Minwax Polyurethane Clear Satin as the finish, and did about two coats of that. One caution with that... With doing the legs and vertical surfaces, it is best to wipe on in thin layers to avoid dripping. Overall I am really happy with the outcome, and love my new table.... Love this item! This is exactly what I was looking for. A small corner table for a bathroom water closet. I love the idea of being able to paint or stain it how I want. I chose a pine stain that really brought out the wood grain. Very easy to put together, and seems to be pretty sturdy. The drawer is very small but it works for my needs

I gave it a 3 star rating because the wood is not smooth, I didn't realize after I stained it, the wood's surface was rough. Had I known that, I'd sand it more and there were a lot of spots discoloring the stain due to wood glue covering blemishes. It was easy to assemble (I HATE assembling stuff) but the bottom shelf was a struggle to get it even when screwing it to the legs. The size and height is perfect, but for the price I paid for wasn't fair as I don't believe in paying for same price for a furniture already assembled. It came out cute and it will be useful for what I need.

Its alright, a lot smaller that we thought but we get by with it
