Honey, I Shrunk the Pepitas
I inadvertently bought the 3-pound size, which I wouldn't recommend — 48 ounces of pumpkin seeds is a LOT of nuts. But I may eventually get through them; they are good, with the right amount of salt. One thing I will note, though, is their size: while it's been a while since I purchased pepitas (their correct name), I'm used to them being sizable — imagine the seeds in a big pumpkin when you're cleaning it out for Halloween. These, by contrast, are nowhere near as pictured; they're only slightly larger than sunflower seeds. (Unless, of course, sunflower seeds have also shrunk.) Fortunately, their size doesn't change their taste.
