I love playing tennis, but tend to get seriously burned, and with the scorching bright sunshine in Florida, it becomes painful to go out to the courts during the daytime. But this band was a "godsend", after looking for so mane choices, and spending so much money in goofy hats, and sunscreen Lotions. It is simply FANTASTIC for the hot weather of South Florida. The first day I wore it at the tennis court, I went ahead and order me a few more (I now also own a "flames" and "navy western" one) so I can also wear them while riding my motorcycle as well. It stays in place (even at wind speeds on the bike), feels very comfortable, covers me and protects me from the harmful bright sun, all that without that chocking feeling, and the best...it actually feels a bit cooler. Please note I wear it as a face mask, so I do not know if it will hold in place as a bandana while riding, but my guess is, since is not uncomfortably tight, I will keep the speedometer at bay. Like another reviewer stated, I also wish they came in other colors, like plain black for instance.

My husband loves these. He uses them to keep his neck warm, but he will also pull it up on his face when days are really cold. They work good for protecting his face from dust and smoke also.

I've bought multiples of these Chill-Its Multi-Bands in high-visibility colors because they are super affordable and super handy for runners. When I go out for a run, I always bring one. It's a sweat towel, a sweat band, a quick layer I can throw on if my ears or hands get a little cold, and a pop of high viz color if I am road running and want to be seen. There is even a trick you can use to wrap this around your hand in an X pattern to attach your water bottle securely to your hand while you run. It's a real runner's multitool.

What is it? A Buff-clone, which is to say a slightly stretchy microfibre tube you can use as a scarf or hat or many other things. Very helpful in the wind in the winter. And small enough to toss in a pocket when not needed, so that you don't have to look dorky when inside. I purchased the ErgoDyne and the Buff on the same day from Amazon to compare. They're almost the same. Same stretchiness width-wise, and lack of it length-wise. Same thickness. No seams on either one, slightly ragged cuts on the ends on both. The Buff is about one inch longer, which isn't much. The Buff may be the original, have anti-bacterial stuff in it, and made in Spain instead of Taiwan, but I'd expect more for nearly double the price. So Ergo definitely gets points for value.

I am a 24 year old guy with longer hair. These things are a life saver. I bought my first one from BUFF Head-wear. An all black one. Just because I didn't want to look like a complete tool wearing these ridiculous patterns to the gym or just out and about. Loved it. So when I needed a new one, I wanted to find a cheaper alternative seeing as i paid over 25 dollars for my first one. So I tried this Ergodyne Brand headband. And I have to say, quality-wise, they are right on par with the Buff Bands in my opinion. The only difference is the pattern and colors. Which are still my only wish, being that they come out with some solid patterns instead of skulls and flames and such. I rarely leave the house without one of these either on my head or in my pocket. I now own six of these. For biking, hiking, camping, working out, or cleaning and doing chores around the house, they are fantastic. They keep my hair out of my face, keep sweat out of my face, and my hair clean when im going more physical stuff outside i.e. rock climbing, chopping wood, using the chainsaw. For the price, they work just as well as the more expensive BUFF alternative. Recommended.

Good for winter when it’s snowing

The price is competitive and the high vis color may save your life sometime but beware if you have a large head and/or thick neck as I do. Mine is a struggle to put on and if around the throat, it's tight enough to feel constrictive. Not sure this material will break in or stretch with use. Not sure I will ever end up using it because of the fit. Also the thing comes fastened to a thick, non-recyclable vinyl plastic board which is a waste of materials. The board weighs much more than the band itself.

The bright orange neck gator works perfect to put on my golden doodle during hunting season. We live in the country and she loves to run in our woods. Although there should not be hunters there - I feel safer with this bright orange wide neck gator on my dog.
