Is this made in the USA?

I just picked up a set today and it clearly says it is made in China to Irwin specifications. Historically they were made in England and maybe top line Irwin Marples still are but this set is now farmed out to the Chinese to manufacture.

How long are these chisels?

Blade is 5.5" and with handle total length is 10.5"

I like thw fact they come with a case.. how durable is the case? Will the sharp ends cut through it?

the case is very durable and will protect both the chisels and whatever they would come into contact with. They also have plastic blade covers on the end of the chisel to protect you against any danger when retrieving a chisel from the case. The case should last a life time I believe my self.
