CD Review: Great Album... - Well, a while ago (approximately 8-9 months ago) I tried to get this, the first one was badly warped. I returned, received another, and the same issue of warping. The sound was not bad but 1/2 inch off the table was not going to do. Skip to now, I still needed a copy, I figured I would try again. Today, I just received a copy, I don't know if they addressed the issues with this release but mine looks good. Playing it right now, it is flat, next to no background noise, and the sound isn't bad but but the output is a bit lower...A crank of the volume (on my setup you can feel the bass pressure/impact in your chest), problem fixed. As far as the cover, the text looks crisp and the colors don't look washed out, the background picture does look slightly blurred. I have seen in some reviews that some had issues with the cover blurred, washed out, and difficult to read the song titles...Maybe I got lucky or they may have made some changes. Sounds Good on my modest system. (Fluance RT-82 w/Acrylic Platter, ATN-XP cart/5 stylus. Nobsound T3 Phono Amp, Aiyima A07 Pro, Kicker KB6B, & Polk PSW10 Sub...Simple Low Cost Setup)...Happy Listening. Featuring- Assimilate & The Coke 2 Epic Songs 1 Great Album!!!
Some songs on this album last a good amount of time other songs last about 1:00 minute which most of them are short but songs like 'Assimilate' 'The Coke' 'Deadlines' 'Last Call' all these alone are worth geting the album! if you like collecting albums and if you like the band! but if you don't like either of those options i would recomed downloading those songs alone.

This being Skinny Puppy's first full-length release, it is a classic. I used to own it in vinyl in its original form, and now I have modern access to it.

BITES (1985)!! AUS den Anfängen einer Band, die ihren Weg gefunden hat. DIE MICH seit gut drei Jahren nicht mehr loslässt. Jippii.\ö/ DAS ist erst mal meine elfte Scheibe der Kanadier!!! DIESER Künstler mit der sehr speziellen Muke, die mich immer wieder mit ihrer Form der INTELLIGENT DANCE MUSIC verzaubern.*****:o) Extra zählen natürlich die fünf weiteren vom Nebenprojekt OHGR. Und ich bin stolz. Aber sowas von. SKINNY PUPPY- manche bezeichnen sie als total durchgeknallt- muahaha- brauche ich eigentlich gar nicht mehr vorstellen. Tu`s aber trotzdem. Wen die INDUSTRIAL- Szene begeistert, der hört sie eh. Und wer mit INDUSTRIAL nix anfangen kann, für den wird es schwer...... in die komplex- abgedrehte Welt von SKINNY PUPPY einzutauchen. Aber das soll nicht mein Problem sein. Selber schuld. Hühü. Nach einem Labelwechsel 1993 kam es zu Spannungen in der Band. Probleme mit Drogen eskalierten und Nivek Ogre verließ im Juni 1995 SKINNY PUPPY. Zwei Monate später starb Dwayne Goettel an einer Überdosis. Das Album " The Process " wurde trotzdem 1996 in Erinnerung an Dwayne fertiggestellt und veröffentlicht. - Trotz finanziell lukrativer Angebote lehnten die Bandmitglieder eine Reunion ab. Bis zum Jahre 2000......es folgten neue Studioalben: " The Greater Wrong Of The Right " (2004) und " Mythmaker " (2007). Beide natürlich TOP. ************************************************************************* Im Februar 2014 forderte SKINNY PUPPY von den USA 666.000 Dollar als Tantiemen. Weil ihre Musik angeblich während der Folter von Guantanamo- Gefangenen eingesetzt wurde. SIEBZEHN SONGS! LAUFZEIT: 72.56 MINUTEN!! SKINNY PUPPY ist keine Schwiegermutter- Musik. Haha. Aber meine!!

LP盤のレビューページ画面なのにCD盤のレビューが混ざってますね。 LP盤はCD版よりも収録曲が少ないので、ぶっちゃけ損です。 CD盤の方がお得です！
