HanTof M.2 Mounting Kit - 5 Sets M.2 Screw + Hex Nut Stand Off Spacer + Screwdriver for NVMe SSSDs

I bought a computer with an ASUS ROG STRIX Z270-I GAMING motherboard which features an m.2 slot on the backside of the motherboard. Unfortunately, when the computer was assembled, the builder neglected to put the (undoubtedly provided) standoff for the m.2 drive into the threaded hole on the backside of the motherboard. They also neglected to provide the little screw to hold an m.2 drive down (the screw that screws into the standoff). I usually build my own PCs, but even I wouldn't be immune to this kind of oversight. Gratefully, M.2 standoffs seem to be of a standardized size. So I bought this kit and it worked well enough. It's not perfect for my application, in that the standoff height is about 1-2mm taller than it should be, but that's not HanTof's fault. This is a general purpose standoff. It's not so tall that I can't use it, at the M.2 drive still clears the backplane of the case fine. The most important part is that it's a bundle of 5 brass standoffs with 10 screws. This means that you have twice the odds that the threads will mate perfectly... and so far I haven't seen any bad screws in the lot. Always good to have extra screws!

Like the title says, got these because I needed the standoff and screw to install an M.2 SSD in my Maximus VIII Formula motherboard. The screw and standoff fit well, but the pricing of this product leaves a sour taste in ones' mouth. ~8 bucks for 5 screws and standoffs. Ludicrous. I can't give it any less than 5 stars though because the product functions as advertised and no-one else on Amazon is selling it cheaper.

I ordered this after I realized my M.2 didn't come with any screws, thank you Samsung. I have an Asus motherboard, however I believe these are universal so it shouldn't matter what kind of motherboard you have as long as it has the M2 slot. They did the job perfectly find and seemed to be decent build quality. It was challenging getting the screw in after the riser due to the fact that they're so small and the screwdriver isn't magnetized. I had to use tape to get it to stick on the screwdriver (it's not like there's a lot of room to work with) and that did the job. Would recommend since I didnt see any within the price range that are magnetized.

used it for my Samsung 970 PRO NVMe Series 512GB M.2 PCI-Express 3.0 x 4 Solid State Drive on a ROG Hero 7 wifi mobo, fits perfectly.

Recently, I upgraded my computer with later mobo. The mobo was an open-box item and did not have the requisite small, brass standoffs required for properly mounting an M.2 SSD card. I use standoffs with other audio builds, but didn't have the 2mm size required for the ASUS mobo. Enter this little kit. Perfect! it was just what I needed, and worked like a charm. I was not able to properly install my new 1TB M.2 memory card on the mobo. Normally, the proper standoffs would be included with a new mobo, but with an open-box item, your takes your chances. ;) Recommended.

seemed fine, just know that they do not work on a Gigabyte MB, threaded end of standoff smaller, and it is taller, was able to use anyway by hot gluing, product fine, just a heads up.

Fit perfectly as it is a standardized size. Good price. Screw driver was nothing special, but worked as any other one would.

They don't have the extra little step at the end that helps align the m.2 drive so there is a lot of slop. The only way to make sure the drive isn't shifting around is to tighten it really hard and it's my preferred way. Wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

Solo necesitaba los tornillos y un stand-off para una memoria m.2, hacen su trabajo, funciona si todavía tienes los mini-stands plateados solo es poner uno grande, los chicos no funcionan ya que no se enroscan pero si los tienes los stands de fabrica en tu motherboard no debería ser un problema.

Bought this to make up for the missing M2 screw and stand-off in my Asus B550M TUF Gaming motherboard. Fits perfectly and very pleased with the speed of the shipment.

The brass spacers were too big for the holes in the case
