WG163E 20V PowerShare Cordless Grass Trimmer 30cm

Have been using a petrol strimmer for years but decided to buy a battery one. This was best bang for your buck. It's super light. It's well made with a head you can flip around with wheels to get a perfect cut on edging. Its great as the arm is extendable but also can made really short for easy Storage. And considering the tiny wire that comes with it, it is incredibly long lasting. I have a fairly large garden to which I've cut around 6 times with slabs/fencing/drains /decking/flower boarders and I've not had to touch the head to feed the wire at all. This strimmer has saved me so much time. (Cons) >Buy a faster charger. As my strimmer came with 2 batteries. Which last a fair bit but when need charging. Each battery takes around 5 hrs from dead. (Pros) > light weight, 2 x batteries, auto feed wire, extendable, compact, quiet. I would say a must buy.

Worx make some great tools, easy assemble and easy to use. Provided with a charger, the battery lasts for a very good length of time. Effective trimmer.

This is an excellent strimmer. Supplied with 2 lithium batteries and a charger. It has been good for strimming the edges of my lawn. I only give 4 starts because I cannot get the command feed mechanism to work reliably but it is quite easy to extend the nylon line manually when required.

We have always had a petrol strimmer/brush cutter. However this broke down recently and I decided to get an electric one. After reading a lot of the reviews on here I decided to take the plunge and purchase this grass strimmer. I have not been disappointed! It is lightweight but sturdy. The battery is probably the heaviest part of it. At first I didn't leave the battery charging for long enough, but once fully charged it lasted the full time I needed it to. I cut the edges of my grass area in my back garden. It did a beautiful job! Then I moved on to a more challenging job at the side of my house where the grass has been left to grow all year so far. It coped much better than I expected with the very long grass and although I had to go over some areas a couple of times, I have to say I was very impressed by the unit. (Picture shows the grass and weeds before and after). It is comfortable to use with adjustable length and handle grip. The feature that allows for more cutting wire to be fed out is brilliant as you don't need to stop and adjust it - just press the button! Overall I would highly recommend this product for light home use. It's not going to measure up to a petrol strimmer for power and performance but it is certainly good enough for my purpose and is much lighter and easier to operate. I may come back and update about reliability in a while.

Delighted with my new strimmer. Assembly was easy and the instructions were clear to follow. Batteries did not take as long to charge as stated in the instructions. Light to hold and was powerful enough to cut through quite rough grass without any difficulty. The battery lasted for about 15 minutes.

Father’s Day present to myself! A truly amazing piece of kit! Tried it out for the first time today. The weeds and grass on our allotment were out of hand, thick and at least 20-25 cm tall. Turned out to be easy to set up and use. It made short work of the thick growth. On a full charge, the battery lasted around 40-45 minutes and the thick growth on a good size patch was taken down to ground level. The string was really durable…I only had to extend it once during the session! I would unreservedly recommend this WORX strimmer, it fully justifies a 5 star rating having absolutely exceeded my expectations!

Previously had a petrol strimmer . Looked at lots of brands and reviews before choosing the Work and it was definitely a good choice. It’s light , so no more using a strap over shoulder and putting pressure on side muscles and lower back . It can be adjusted for length and also angle of the head that is really useful . It’s power is good for cutting grass , small undergrowth and nettles etc but nothing more . Maybe with a thicker cord it could but I have not tried .The edging rotation is really useful and it does do nice lines between grass and pavers. Cordless and battery is ideal , with good functionality. But I would only recommend this product if it’s comes with 2 batteries as did mine . The batteries only last 15-20 minutes max and the charger takes 5 hrs to charge a fully discharged battery .

Very pleased with this, easy to use and gets the job done.

Ottimo prodotto, maneggevole, leggero e potente. La batteria dura molto, ma il mio giardino non è molto grande. Spero di non avere problemi con il cambio filo.

It is not possible to register this product for an extended guarantee if you live in Ireland. Our country is not in the drop-down menu of EU countries and when I enquired on their chat-line I was fed a litany of pre-written replies and eventually my chat was ended from their end with no explanation forthcoming. Abysmal customer service, if I could leave zero stars, I would.

Le seul problème le chargeur livré pour.la France a une prise pour le reseau Anglais. Il faut un adaptateur ou changer le chargeur c'est vraiment dommage.

Bien, el corta césped, esta muy bien para un jardín, fantástico, tiene fuerza y dura bastante la batería, 45 min. ahora no esperéis que funcione a nivel hierba fuerte en terreno perdido, para esto, no sirve.
