AF15CB Fuel Filter

Purchased the large one, with 2 filters in the funnel. Had a boat with 45 gallons of gas that was contaminated with water that I pumped dry. Ran it all through this and put it into a couple of other vehicles, no issues whatsoever. It is a flat bottomed funnel so it does leave a bit of extra down in the bottom, could have been designed a bit better. Can minimize this by tilting the last bit to get all you can through one of the filters then disposing of what remained - not all that much. Filters very quickly, I was pouring out of one 5 gallon jug into another, then into a vehicle. Filtered as fast as I was pouring. Tested by putting water in the funnel. Absolutely none ran through. I've no doubt it would filter any and all particulate too. Worked very well for what I needed. I'll take it to the farm to filter diesel there.

I had some snowmobiles with water in the gas tanks. I siphoned all the gas out and through the Mr. Funnel 15C, and like some magic trick, all the water stayed in the funnel and the gas went on through. Saved about the cost of the funnel in the gas that I saved. It is a great product and works like a champ. Dirt and debris were filtered out also. Would recommend this product for anywhere you need to clean fuel up that was contaminated with water or particles. It does go through a bit slower than stated but does work very well.

I am a junk yard and I reuse gas from the cars that I get. This helps me filter the debris out from the cars I get, since over time fuel tanks get filthy. Not only does this save me from putting the debris in my tank it saves me time from waiting for the debris to settle down then pouring it into my tank. I also bought a second one for my diesel equipment. As you can tell the the little bumps and white spots are the debris. This product does leave left over fuel inside the funnel but I don’t mind because I’ve had to throw the unused Fuel into my recycle bin and there’s more much left over. Don’t expect this product to make old Gas turn into new gas. All it does is filter the unwanted.

What I observed about this funnel is different than most reviews. First it is designed to have a small area in the bottom to contain impurities in the fuel such as water. Water is at the bottom of the fuel, not the top. That is why that, if your fuel is very good quality and there is no water, there will be fuel still in the funnel. I just pour the leftover fuel back into container it came from. Eventually I will use. I use for my New Holland Skid steer, too expensive to have water in diesel fuel. I can find no other funnel to fit the application and satisfied with performance of the product. I have only one problem in that it's construction causes a little problem because of where the fuel fill on the skid steer is located and I understand that making a special filter for my application is not practical. I have found a way to adapt. So having a little extra fuel in the funnel is better than having water in your machine and much less costly.

Will certainly filter out contaminants but in now way does it allow 12GPM of fuel through. Also leaves about a pint of fuel that will not go through (height of filter to bottom of the bowl of the filter base). Zero customer service. Email, phone call, no response. If I ever have to replace it, I’ll use an off brand for half the price.

I wasn't sure if this was real or a gimmick. I had several 5 gal gas cans in the garage that had lots of condensation in them. They wouldn't run anything prior to filtering. I ran the gas thru Mr. Filter and it removed all the water, dirt, particles, and debris leaving pure gas. I was really shocked. My lawnmower ran with no issues after filtering the gas. So I then added the gas to my cars without any issue. No hesitation or sputtering. The gas was treated with stabilizer prior to being stored.

There is no way to use this item without having to go out and buy a hose and hose clamps to make it useable with a normal tank filler or a car or a truck. It looks like it is made for only using it on auxiliary tanks, like farm tanks. I have a spare tank in my truck and could not use it from the spare tank to the main tank without first buying a hose and clamps. Not something I was happy about, price and time wasted. This item should be useable in multiple applications without the additional hassel.

Works good ....some fuel left over in bottom..... probably just a funnel with HD screen be just as good
