I really can’t fault this mouse – it’s become my daily driver for both work and gaming. When I misplaced the dongle, I didn’t hesitate to buy the exact same model again, which says a lot about how much I rate it. For the price, you can’t go wrong. The mouse feels light without being flimsy, and I use it with a standard AA battery (not the smaller AAA with a converter). The main buttons have a satisfying, positive click, while the side buttons are there if you want them, though I don’t personally use them. The scroll wheel is smooth and reliable, though it’s not the free-spinning “infinity” style if that’s something you’re after. Tracking has been responsive both on my mouse mat and directly on my wooden desk. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be great if Logitech sold the dongles separately – they’re small and easy to misplace, and having a replacement option would make this already excellent mouse even better.

Like all Logitech stuff, this mouse feels good quality. It's definitely designed for someone who uses the palm of the hand on their mouse, rather than a claw hand grip user, and right hand only in this guise, so if you're a confirmed claw grip person, or a left mouse user you might find this hard to get on with. I'm a lefty, though able to be a bit ambidextrous when using a mouse. This definitely doesn't favour left handed use. It's too easy to hit the side buttons when you drive it left handed so will mess browsing real hard unless you unbind those keys from backwards/forwards. I didn't need to download any logitech software to get this running. Just plug and play on windows 11, though obviously you can do if you want more customisation. The sensor seems good on the various surfaces I've tried it on (mouse mat, vinyl covered worktops, piles of paper, book covers, leather sofa arm) and the buttons are responsive. The speed of the cursor can be controlled by the button on the mouse so you can easily customise it on the fly. Wireless and wired performance is good, no drop outs on wireless. Just seems to work, but then I expect that from Logitech. It's actually a pretty nice mouse to use as a mobile one if you work from lots of different locations and have to cart stuff around. Full sized, but not too big and bulky that it takes up too much space in a backpack. Price was pretty good as I got it on sale with a large chunk off. Obviously there's a million cheaper alternatives, but at a discounted price it is worth it for the quality. If I was paying full price I would probably look elsewhere. Dropped a star because of anti-left hand bias ;-).

I have it for abouth 6 months now. Had 3-5 times where it did not respond properly. I find this an acceptable amount given I've been using it a lot. Looks good, is very smooth and great for gaming.

I’ve been using this wireless mouse for the whole month and I haven’t had to change the battery once, honestly, this thing is magic! The movement range is excellent, and not having to worry about being restricted by a cable makes you feel much more free when using it. It moves smoothly and responds well. I also really like that it’s comfortable to use with either hand, making it a versatile option whether you’re left- or right-handed. For the price, I’m genuinely impressed with it and would happily recommend it.

Pleased with this mouse fits nicely in the hand and plenty of DPI settings. For anyone wondering you can download the G HUB software to fine tune. Great for gaming with it's precision and lightweight design.

...one cannot get away from the fact that this is one of the best value gaming mice out there. The quality of the buttons and the wheel is just amazing. The shape is known quantity and the sensor and the wireless subsystem perform top notch. Also, I am one of those who prefer just to swap a rechargeable battery when needed, as opposed to charging regularly. For the most balanced feel, use the AAA to AA adapter. It is really a noticeable upgrade and the mouse stops feeling little bit rear heavy.

I bought this mouse after waiting 12 days for delivery. Just after 1 week if use the left click died. Very strange to see big brands like Logitech delivering such poor quality products. Luckily this happened under the return window so i have initiated a refund.

The mouse is so amazing. Love it. I am the owner of g903 - the mouse which is top of the line and 4 times more expensive than 305. Unfortunately after 1year the infamous double clicking failure started so mouse became unusable( 305 is almost the same in experience and now I see it was a big mistake to go for a more expensive one. Mouse is equally light and comfy in hand. Connection is perfectly stable. Logitech software is working in the same way and helps to customize mouse behavior/ settings/ buttons/ macros etc. in the same way. Have no doubts. This is the mouse you are looking for. Perfect value for this price.
