Never used one of these before but now I’ll never not use one
I’ve always used a marshalltown stainless steel flexi trowel in the past but after trying this I don’t think I’ll ever go back. It actually saves you a bit of time trowelling up as you can flatten and polish with this, it’s also handy that the little trowel can be used for awkward areas where a bigger trowel won’t fit. I’ll be buying a bigger blade for it eventually. 100% recommend

Awesome finish!
Wow! I’m a diy enthusiast who has done a fair bit of plastering over the years and have a trusty trowel that has served me well to date. I was recommended this brand by a friend and also have watched a few YouTube videos that give positive reviews and thought I’d take the plunge given it was on offer. Well, all I can say is WOW! The finish that this trowel gives is super smooth and professional and has taken my plastering up a notch. This is one of the best tools I’ve bought in a while. If you plaster and want a great finish - buy it👍🏻

Why didn't I buy this years ago?!
been skimming for years with a steel Marshall and thought nothing of the strain the steel blades put on your arms and joints. Recently been working with another plasterer doing ceilings so all overhead work, who uses a plastic blade to finish up. Was impressed at how well the finish came up with such little effort. Had to get one for myself. This particular set up comes with the better midget trowel as the newer trowel has a much thinner spine and have read reviews on it snapping. But this is the better trowel so no worries. No hard work breaking this blade in either, gives a brilliant finish straight from the box it came in and only gets better with time.

Great as long as you can plaster flat
This is a great trowel…. If you know how to use it. I would not recommend it to a beginner at all unless they're experienced enough to lay walls on flat with a conventional trowel. This is a time saver, you can finish walls one trowel earlier with less pressure but only if your skimming is already flat, if it isn't you’ll make a right mess with wiggly wavy finishes which Im sure if youre looking at the reviews youve already seen

If you suffer from tennis or golf elbow it’s brilliant.
I got this because I’m carpenter/builder and plastering comes as part of my contracts a fair bit. In the last couple of years I’ve really suffered with tennis elbow and tendinitis in my shoulder and the pain at work is pretty severe at times. Plastering is one of the things that really aggravates arm and shoulder injuries so with that in mind I’d seen that this trowel was designed to make the task easier. Well I have admit I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it turned out to be. Plastering has gone from a task I dread doing to something that is at worst mildly uncomfortable. If you can already plaster then using this is an absolute doddle and the top coat is effortlessly flat, level and consistent. The blade is very fragile and can pick up scratches easily but once is worn in, as with a traditional trowel, it’s great. Value wise it’s priced similarly to a mid range from anywhere else but for me the value was in not being in pain anymore. Handle is comfortable, well designed, well built and very lightweight. If you are a tradesman and you have any elbow or shoulder injuries and struggle with a traditional trowel this is a must for your tool bag.

Excellent
Burred edges out of the box but 2 seconds with some fine sandpaper and you're good to go. Lightweight. Easy to clean. This is plastic and I only use this for cosmetic purposes, to give a matt finish on the final stage. Recommended by plastering for beginners.
