Bought this as a sensory item for my 6 1/2 yr old Grandson. He really liked it & it seems to be holding up very well. He doesn't sleep with it or anything like that but he does play with it & move the sequins around into different pictures. It does help him to calm down when he uses it. I'm glad I bought it.Hope this review helps you to make an Informed choice. I depend on reviews when purchasing items so I try to help by writing my honest opinions on things I buy.

Be sure to read the description....these are only pillow cases no inserts! But they are fantastic pillow cases! I'm pretty sure I've been more entertained than my kids (who I bought them for!) **FYI for those who are like me, and check out all reviews & sellers info before buying...I chose the seller URSKY..Great service! As others have said, this is just a pillow case - not a pillow as pictured. That's totally fair as that's how it is advertised and the product meets the description. I wanted to dock one star only because the price point doesn't really match up with the product delivered when you compare the other reversible sequin products out there, but that didn't seem fair considering this product didn't do anything wrong. This is totally satisfactory and it gets the job done, but I've seen these same kinds of sequin pillows in a handful of stores for the same price point including the pillow/with full length zippers. Still, if you have some random extra pillows at home already that you want to re-purpose, this is a totally adequate case.

The colors in the Mermaid pillowcase are beautiful and dynamic. I work as a therapist for high school students and they pretty much play with my multiple sequined pillows during our entire therapy session. The only negative feedback I've gotten from my students is that this case is a little "tougher" and takes some effort to move the sequins. Other cases I own are a simple swipe, so that is literally the only downside. The product is still great though and I'd easily buy more pillowcases from this company. I like that the zipper is hidden and the case is a great size! I recommend this product :-)

The pillow case looks great and in theory is great. However, it falls short if this is being gifted to a child. My daughter is 5. Generally these sequenced pillows and shirts that can be flipped over to display a different pattern are quite stiff. There is only 2 directions that you can move the sequence to. The problem that occurs when the fabric is not stiff poses a big problem. The sequence can accidentally be flipped in the wrong direction. You can painstakingly unflip them if you are a masochist and enjoy pain...lolAfter flipping sequence back several times the sequence no longer wants to lay flat. It would be fine as a gift to an older child. For a young one that isn’t sure which way to flip the sequence I do not believe the case will look nice for long.

This was part of a gift for my daughter’s 12th birthday, and she’s had it for 2 months now. Basic info- it’s not double sided, the colors would most accurately be described as a turquoise that’s more blue than green & the flip side is a bright pink (not neon or hot pink!) with a light purple sheen.She’s using it for decoration, so I’m not sure how it’d hold up to daily use, but she & her friends mess with it a lot and it’s still in perfect condition! The sequins flip easily, the construction seems sturdy!

This is just the coolest pillow. At first I thought they sent the wrong pillow as it arrived showing all white sequins. But discovering the gold reverse side of sequins made for fun in creating a pattern of gold and white. We are refreshing our bedroom decor. This pillow added the pop of elegance we wanted. Not sure it would be a good fit for a sofa or place it would get tossed around. The sequins flip color easily. For pure decoration, this pillow is great.

This sequin pillow is cute and fun and adds a pop of shine and color to our little reading nook! I love playing with it and making pictures out of the sequins, but I can tell the quality of the pillow case is a bit cheap. Some of the sequins bend kind of weird or don't go back down all the way, so for $7 this is about what you'd expect. I found that an 18x18 pillow fit perfectly and filled the entire pillow case. It was a little tight getting it on, but not bad at all. It's a great deal and not bad quality for only $7.

The sequins looked great after sublimation but the colour leaked from the pink velvet back of the pillow case wrecking both the pillow case and the mat I was using during the heat press. I did not see any warnings about this potential problem. I did put card stock underneath the sequin side while pressing to avoid ink leaking - but never thought about the velvet side of the pillow.

Beautiful and the back is soft. My one complaint it the sequins are a little too far apart making it easy for them to get trapped in under the other s and then they won’t flip without digging at them with your fingernail.

Cheaper elsewhere but I was too late to cancel and didnt feel like returning. Nice to have a zip so I can wash it

Great price for this quality product. Arrived quickly and in time for Christmas. I hand stuffed versus using an insert at sizing is slightly smaller than 16"x16".
