Works great!
Works great. Wired this into a 12v rock tumbler to get greater control over the rpm’s. Increases/decreases rpm’s smoothly. Easy to install.

Worked great
I used this for a small fan I needed in our work truck. I liked it and it was easy to use. However, I was not able to switch the wires around and make the fan spin in the opposite direction but I have a extremely limited knowledge of electronics so it more than likely my fault. I would buy again.

Does What I Got it to Do
I got this to regulate a tiny 6 volt motor I use to drive a marble run I built. It works just fine and doesn't take up much space.

ok value
would have been nice to have instructions as to where to place wires

Great for Pop Up trailer bunk fans!
I picked these up hoping I could get them to function in the bunk fans for our Pop Up trailer. They are actually a perfect fit and work great!.There is some wiring and drilling necessary to make these work. The job is easy if you know what you are getting into. I removed the resistor from the low speed switch and wired these in with the high speed switch. The knob on these have a click/off position which is perfect. I noted that although during the day you can't see it, at night you can see there is a red LED on the board which glows through the plastic housing of the bunk fan but it is not annoying at all. At low speeds these are perfect, and there is no motor whine.

Eight to eleven months continuous service
The first controller lasted 11 months, the second only eight on pet fountain pump flow control.UPDATE: Requires nearly full power to start. A power interruption kills it until full power is applied again.

works ok, but beware of switch as it appears current can flow through the switch occasionally
Seems to be some leeched power through the potentiometer/switch. Have it connected to a 12v motor, I turn the potentiometer all the way down to the off position, and once there, the motor starts to spin again. appears there is current flowing through the switch even though it has been turned off. The variable speed aspect of the controller works well otherwise.

12 DC INPUT ONLY
These little fan controllers work well for managing fan speeds of typical computer fans. I originally bought some of these a while ago to manually adjust the fan speed on my PS4 and have since used them to make little table top fans from pc fans that I've salvaged. They are PWM controllers with a built in potentiometer to make any fan variable speed.

Works well
Worked well to control power output from a single 18650 cell (3.7V) to battery powered lights to make them dimmable.
